We loved Fabio's place. We found the location to be perfect. There were five of us and we had two rooms. The taxi from the train station was not expensive. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The extra added treat to this stay was the breakfast each morning. It was delicious and the presentation was lovely . I defiantly recommend this B&B to those traveling to Florence! Thank-you Fabio!
Fabio’s B&B is a hidden gem in Florence. We stayed just for one night, and regretted having not planned more days there. The house is unassuming (as most of the houses in the residential parts of Florence) but he did a good job in the renovation inside. The room is a suite with to beds, a small social area and the bathroom, which looked new to me. The hall outside leads to a garden and the dinning room, where breakfast is served. The layout of the table for breakfast was simply beautiful. And choices ranged form cereal, to pastries, coffee, tea and plain bread. We arrived in Florence really early and he allowed us to leave our luggage while we explore the city. The only problem (which was out of Fabio’s hands) was the previews guest was a smoker, so the smell stayed. We went to an Indian store nearby and bough some incense candles and managed to mask the smell for the night.
In short, Fabio’s B&B is an excellent choice to stay in Florence.
