Cozy beach house, the front garden ends with the Cala Pira beach shore. White sand beach, near Villasimius.
Located on the beach of Cala Pira, nearby Villasimius. Nice little villa on the sea sand. Two bedrooms (1 double bed + 1 bedroom with 4 single beds), kitchen, 2 bathrooms, dining room with TV and fireplace (don't really need these in the summers...), outside shower, patio. Private garden and outside barbecue. Car parking in the back.
We normally rent the house on weekly basis from Sathurday to Sathurday. The price does not include the cost of cleaning the house. There is a cleaning ladyt we will send over, the cost is 100 euros.
50 steps from the sea in one of the best beaches in Sardinia. 40 Km from Cagliari airport.
Best beach time from April to October. Beautiful surrondings, history and nature nearby.
Stores nearby: Costa Rei - 5 chilometers (several supermarkets, closed during the winter season) it's about 5 miles. Otherwise the town of Villasimius is 10 miles away.
The main beaches: from the south coast (Mediterranean) to the east (Tyrrhenian), are: Porto sa 'Ruxi, Piscadeddus Campus, Cuccureddus, Campulongu, Rice Beach, Marina Beach, Fortress, St. Stephen's, Cove Catherine Cala Gully (adjacent to Cape Carbonara), Cava Usai, Port Rush, Notteri, Timi Ama, Simius, Is Traias, Moon Harbour, Manunzas, Riu Trottu (crooked river), Punta Molentis, Procceddus
On the beach there is a small beach bar (on the left) and a boat, canoe and surf rental. They also organize daily trips by boat in the sorroundings. In front of Cala Pira there is a national water park (preserved area) that can be partly visited.
I'm available for any information you might need about the house, for suggestions of what to see and do around the beautiful island of Sardinia.
The house is located in a small condominium of about another 150 houses.
There is a bus stop right at the end of the dirt road that leads to the Cala Pira beach. It goes all the way to Villasimius and Cagliari. However the best way to get to Cala Pira is by car.
Wow! Cala Pira... what a place. The garden ends 10 metres from the sea, an amazing location. The house is in a private neighbourhood -a key is needed to enter the main gates. Very well-equipped (digital tv, dishwasher and washing machine included) and it really felt like home. Gianluca was very helpful before our trip and during our stay. We visited the house in May so there weren't lots of neighbours around and the beach was almost empty, but I believe July and August might be different. As with most places in Sardegna, you need a car to move around, and there is parking available at Gianluca's. Will definitely recommend this place, and try to come back there myself.
