Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a couples retreat, a boating adventure, or a relaxing escape to the Bluegrass, Sunset Landing offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and breathtaking lake views.
Start your mornings with coffee overlooking the water and end your evenings watching sunsets that inspired the home’s name. Located within walking distance of Sunset Marina, guests have easy access to boating, fishing, and lake activities, while the nearby community playground and Sunrise Over Herrington Lake Resort campgrounds make this an ideal destination for families and groups alike.

Housekeeping & Lake House Expectations
Our home is cleaned and prepared before every guest’s arrival, and normal cleaning is included in the standard turnover process. We simply ask that guests return the home in a clean and orderly condition upon departure. If excessive cleaning is required beyond normal use, an additional cleaning fee may be charged.
Thank you for treating our home with care and understanding the unique aspects of staying at a beautiful lakeside retreat.
Please keep in mind that this is a lake house, and nature is part of the experience. Depending on the season and weather conditions, you may encounter wind, pollen, dust, dirt, leaves, bugs, spiders, crickets etc. Pollen, leaves, or ash may occasionally settle on outdoor spaces such as porches and ledges due to blowing wind.
PETS: We prefer pets be kenneled when left alone to limit any damages. Pets are not allowed on furniture unless you provide a sheet for them to lay on, to minimize pet hair. Please clean up after pets. Guest are responsible for any damage caused.
NO SMOKING inside unit, all smoking must be outside and safely dispose of all buds and ashes. $500 fine if caught smoking inside property.
