Rachel was really welcoming and I felt like an old friend staying at her place! A great airbnb experience and I would love to stay with her again some time. The room was just as described and the location was really convenient.
I really liked the place where this flat is: Situated in between of Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge - a perfect view every time you leave the house. The flat is good, the host very nice. Recommendable!
I enjoyed the stay at Rachel's apartment. The apartment is very central and close to different subway stations. Rachel was helpful and a nice host.
Good location close Chinatown. The room fits one visitor perfectly. By the way, Rachel's band is amazing. I was impressed by their performance at the cafe when I went to pick up the keys. Rachel was so nice. Thank you!
What a great experience! Rachel's room was a great place to relax and unwind after a few busy days in NYC. I never actually got to meet Rachel, but she left her keys for me at a nearby cafe. She was very hospitable, leaving city maps and guides in the room for use! The room itself was very comfortable - nothing fancy, but certainly made do. The location is great too - just minutes from Chinatown, Little Italy, and the Brooklyn Bridge! I would suggest earplugs for light sleepers - there was some noise at night due to pigeons outside the window and older pipes in the building. I would definitely stay here again!
My wife and I never actually met Rachel, and were given keys and a location by her associates at a nearby restaurant. When we arrived there was some confusion with the rooms, and we had to switch rooms mid stay with other guests. I wasn't expecting to be in such close quarters with other people, and was a little apprehensive leaving my wife at home and not knowing who would be showing up next. Other than that Rachel would respond to our texts right away and made sure she fixed the wireless when it went down. There was a sticky trap set in the kitchen so one morning I found a struggling mouse that I had to kill. I wasn't sure who intended on retrieving the trap so that was odd. The place was fairly clean though and the location was great for us. Awesome chinese food not far away, and only a 10 minute walk from the subway. We overall enjoyed the place but had the other guests not been so nice it probably wouldn't have worked for us
