We are the only donation based (pay it forward/pay what you want) non-profit hostel chain in the world. We started on a simple idea: people are good. Now, we have multiple branches around the world run by real local people who try to spread that idea every day. Come stay with us and experience real community and hospitality.
When you come to a new city, you usually don't know a soul, and look to a hostel to meet new friends to share new experiences. With Not Another Hostel, you have friends (us) as soon as you walk in the door. Forget about hostels where you don't meet (let alone interact) with the owner, and come learn about the real Cincinnati with us!
* Clean sheets, blankets, and pillows
* Full kitchen use
* Hot showers (there is a shared bathroom)
* Stupid fast WiFi
* Maps for biking/buses/walking
* Free on street parking
* Musical equipment available for a jamming.
* Camping in the backyard with firepit and a hammock.
* No checkout times (Just leave the room by 2 PM, but you can hang around with us after that if need be.)
This whole system runs on donations. We are not out to make a profit off of you, but do have a suggested (completely optional) donation amount of $25. This goes towards rent, utilities, supplies, internet costs, maintenance and upkeep on the house, and other expenses. If you cannot afford or do not want to pay anything, that's okay! We are a true non-profit that does not guilt trip people into donating. Our listing does say $10 on airbnb, as that is their minimum listing amount. That amount can be refunded no questions asked. If you want to learn more about our mission, find our website by searching for Not Another Hostel.
Hope to see you soon!

Alec and his housemates were really great hosts, always kind, helpful and fun to talk to. The location of the hostel is also extremely convenient. I would definitely love to stay with them again. Highly recommended!
Didn't end up staying but the process itself was really fast an easy. Seem like wonderful people.
Not Another Hostel was a great experience. The place was clean and had everything we needed and the hosts had great advice and things to do and places to go.
My friend and I crashed at "not another hostel!" The guys who lived there were very welcoming and gracious hosts! This place is not anything luxury but if you need a place to crash for a night or 2 it fits the bill! Shared bathroom was fine by us but may not work for others!! Nice neighborhood, close to shops and an excellent coffee shop up the street! We were lucky
To have the 4 sleeper room to ourselves but if you require a lot privacy, you don't get much!! For what this place is, it is wonderful! The "pay what you can" concept is great and our stay was very satisfactory!
Thank you gentleman for opening you home to us!!!
Gracious and Generous Hosts, comfortable space, good location. I stayed for about 2 weeks, and felt welcomed, safe, and at home. Would absolutely recommend. It's also a great idea to pay it forward. Definitely worth supporting. The only downside is sharing a bathroom with 3 others.
Had a great stay here! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Cincinnati
Enjoyed my stay at Not Another Hostel very much. I stayed three nights over the Holidays and was comfortable, warm and welcomed. Alec and Amir were very nice, and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend visiting Cinci.
Comfortable bed, plenty of linens and very accessible, walking distance to shops and restaurant. Easy to navigate to and for. Parking is tight and neighborhood is loud (it is near the university tho).
Alec, is very nice, and hospitable, as is the other roommate I spoke with. They greeted me warmly and if I wasn't so tired or off in a class, I definitely would have enjoyed socializing with them.
As a female, traveling alone, I would not recommend this. I was in a pinch and it was sufficient for me and what I was there to do.
Indeed, this is not an other hostel!
Everything was cool and clean, from the bed to the basement!
I had a lot of good moments there!
Alec and his roommates are openminded and so friendly! You can share a lot of things with them!
The house is well located, in a university area, with a lot of bar and restaurants, and it´s close to downtown Cincinnati!
I recommend this place to everyone
who comes to this city! This kind of project has to be supported!
If I get back in Cincinnati, it will be there!
Thanx again guys!
Excellent one-day stay with an easy-going group of gentlemen. Would definitely stay again. Thanks again.
