I offer a clean, casual and sunny place in a quiet safe neighborhood… Walking distance to public transportation coffee shops restaurants and bars.
I have one, sometimes two and once in a while all three bedrooms in my earth friendly San Carlos home available for two nights or longer. It's located mid point between San Francisco and San Jose just off Highway 101 and a 6 minute walk to the commuter train or bus.
I mostly host techies but some tourists too, people from Israel, Canada, Australia, Japan, Kenya, Hong Kong, India, Estonia, China, Thailand, Denmark, Russia, Germany, Sweden, Uzbekistan, Great Britian, Singapore, Belgium, a little place called The US and probably a few I've forgotten!
I share my nice modern home with large kitchen and all the amenities...even a seasonal veggie garden and bird bath. If you do not see 30 birds, squirrels and other forms of wildlife while making for your first cup of coffee, you are not looking.
Warning: the patio can lure you into hours of eating and dining pleasure.
The bathroom has a nice bubbling Jacuzzi tub.
This IS NOT an uptight place. My plates don't match my coffee cups and my forks don't match my spoons.
With few exceptions I accept two people per room only.
I have key-less entry for better security-- code upon arrival. Street parking plentiful Off street parking add $5/day.
LGBT friendly! Disability and wheelchair accessible. Great secure doors and windows in a safe and clean neighborhood.
in last kitchen cabinet on left.
Modern forced air heating with smoke and CO detectors
Spare auto inflating airbed

Easy access off of 101, and nice neighborhoods. Clean quiet home, and comfortable bed. Tim helpful and gave us the privacy we wanted.
Had another great stay at Tim's home. Easy, convenient, and comfortable. Now with UberX just minutes away, it's even easier to get around. I'll be back!
A nice room with a good bed, Tim is welcoming and friendly, his rules are simple and fair. I felt like at home. A nice place to be !
This is a very clean, comfortable and elegant space, and Tim was a kind, friendly and helpful host. I needed to stay at his place while settling into my new job after just moving to San Carlos. Not only did he provide a lovely space, but also helped me get to know my new neighborhood and get settled at my new place. Definitely worth staying at with great location and company!
This is a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the Caltrain station and downtown San Carlos. The room is clean and comfortable. Tim is an excellent host, friendly and welcoming. I would definitely want to stay here again.
This was my 3rd stay with Tim and what I found is consistency. It's not an accident that the home is well organized and comfortable. To meet expectations consistently like Tim has he has stuck to process.
Tim's communication is stellar. He emails in advance to let me know the code to the house (nice to know it is changed often) and who else may be staying at the house during my visit.
I also wanted to add how consistently easy it is to find a parking space either right in front of the house or right across the street. This makes things so much easier while traveling. The parking is street parking so there is not a guarantee but in my three trips it has never been an issue.

Fun-loving guy, into travel, conversation, animals, cycling, good food and wine.
I've hosted guests from all over the world on Airbnb, six continents and 30+ nations: techies hoping to make their millions in Silicon Valley and tourists too.
I cook a little, especially on the grill and I love fish and pasta. I get regular deliveries of organic veggies and fruits. Enjoy!
Hobbies include cycling, running, hiking, bird watching, travel, gardening and ocean diving.
You should have a profile and picture to stay here. Tell me something about YOU...are you traveling for fun or business? Do you plan to be in my house working all day on the computer or getting up in the morning and exploring the Bay Area or heading for the office?
Afterall, this is my house and I need to know a little something about you.
