Where does one start with the incomparable Angelica Signoretto and Adone Consolati? Fine food, fine wine and fine company to begin with. Perhaps some of their Italian flair to keep you going? Or maybe the beautiful house and garden to finish you off? Either way, a stay at Casa Mango is a real treat. Indeed, this stay in Macario Gomez is ideally placed for access to the pyramids and the nearby cenotes in Coba. If feeling the warmth of an Italian family (let's not forget Zoe) is your kind of holiday then book my friend, BOOK!

My 11-yr-old daughter and I were delighted with our experience at Casa Mango. Yoga on our private patio in the trees started my day right, breakfast of tropical fruit (and excellent coffee) plus delicious egg dishes from their own chickens for a few dollars, in a beautifully decorated tropical garden. I only wish we had hung out more there, but their advice for less touristy beaches, cenotes and ruins helped us find great adventures all around. Coming "home" to Angelica's fabulous Italian cooking at the end of a long day, in their candlelit garden, was such a treat. My daughter loved reading in the hammock, visiting all the animals, and first thing each morning she wanted to see their adorable daughter, Zoe. Adone and Angelica have that special combination of artistry, hospitality and practicality that made every detail of the space (even the bathroom is beautiful!) and the experience beyond expectation.

very nice home, lovely family, and amazing restaurant they run out of their home. You really get that jungle like feel, with the sounds at night and birds in the morning, even had toucans over head. the breakfast they provide is amazing, and they even give you a travel briefing to help you see the local sights.

This is a truly beautiful home with welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. The setting is a tropical paradise and I almost don't want to write a review in order to keep it a secret. It is amazing, magical, surreal. But all you really need to know is: don't skip dinner! Our Italian hosts cooked homemade pasta! This is the very best place I've stayed at in my entire life -- and I have traveled a lot. Amazing.
