Napa Valley is a world reknown travel destination. We love the northern part of the wine country. Calistoga offers the tranquil setting that one is looking for in a vacation or break away. In many ways Sonoma and Alexander Valley offer the relaxed traveler a lot of opportunities, especially for the ones that look for family-owned/boutique wineries or for people that long for "just a weekend away" with family and friends from the city.

The house was spotless, and the grounds were beautiful. It was the perfect getaway! The proximity to Calistoga is an extra bonus. It's the perfect destination spot for two couples.

This secluded house was just as advertised - comfortable, great proximity to Calistoga, and perfect for two couples! The kitchen had all of the equipment we needed to cook a great breakfast, the beds were comfortable, and the patio had a great view. Thanks for a great stay!

Three of my friends and I stayed at Peter's house last weekend while we were in town for a half marathon. The house was clean, easy to find, close to town and yet still very private. The view off the back deck is breathtaking. We spent most of our weekend at the house, grilling, relaxing outside and soaking in the hot tub. This is a great place to stay if you want to feel like you're off the grid and still be only a short drive away from the action.

The location is fantastic. It's a few minutes from Calistoga and away from the frenzy of the day. We enjoyed coming back to a nice home to make dinner and to enjoy some of the wines we discovered that day. The hosts were fantastic and very friendly! We're looking forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa the week between Christmas and New Years. Our 10 month old loved the house (surprisingly child proof) and enjoyed exploring the properties. The house and property are immaculate. The location is fantastic for a low-key vacation as we were able to alternate between hikes, wine tasting, and exploring the local towns easily. We would definitely stay again.

Peter's place was exceptionally clean and hospitable. Close to town but on a lovely wooded property. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a great time at this lovely home. It was the perfect size for my wife and I and our son. It is in a relaxing location and it easy to get to either Napa or Sonoma sides. We really enjoyed the hot tub which is clean, in great working order, and private. The beds, furniture, bathroom and kitchen appliances are in great shape. Great heating. Great windows, lots of light. There is a wood burning stove so don't forget to pick-up some firewood on the way in as you need to supply your own. Our hosts were terrific.
