This is a great location. As advertised it is an austere camp but it is a great location to explore the Dead Sea.

This be place was FANTASTIC! It was surprisingly one of the most comfortable places we've stayed at! The beds and pillows were amazing. The AC worked perfectly. It's super close to some beautiful hikes to waterfalls and natural swimming pools. Great place!

There are not many appealing places to stay near the Dead Sea. There is a large, generic hotel/resort area at Ein Bokek, and a few lodging options around Ein Gedi. We picked Ein Gedi Desert Hostelling, which is just outside the kibbutz, for their moderate prices and their great v…

Wow, amazing place! The view was breathtaking and the hostel workers made us feel so at home. A great way to experience Ein Gedi and the surrounding regions. Highly recommended:))
