Interaction with Guests
Typically, I do not meet guests, but am a text, call or email away. Check-in/out is self-serve. I leave the key under that door mat, which opens the top deadbolt lock. Upon arrival, you will find a guest handbook that includes lots of helpful information about the apartment, neighborhood, etc. Also, I have a basket filled with tourist information, maps, guidebooks, etc. When you leave, just lock the door and put the key under the mat.
MUNI bus lines are within walking distance. The 1 California and 38 Geary will take you to downtown, and connect you pretty much to any part of the city.
Other Things to Note
California is in a severe drought, so please help to conserve water as much as you can. Simple things like limiting length of showers, not running water while you brush your teeth, and the like can make a positive impact.
Please remove shoes inside. You can keep them in the hall closet.
No smoking inside. If you are a smoker, please smoke on the curb. Do NOT smoke in the stairwells or back deck, as it disturbs the neighbors. Thanks for understanding.
