Interaction with Guests
Typically, I do not meet guests, but am a text, call or email away. Check-in/out is self-serve. I leave the key under that door mat, which opens the top deadbolt lock. Upon arrival, you will find a guest handbook that includes lots of helpful information about the apartment, neighborhood, etc. Also, I have a basket filled with tourist information, maps, guidebooks, etc. When you leave, just lock the door and put the key under the mat.
MUNI bus lines are within walking distance. The 1 California and 38 Geary will take you to downtown, and connect you pretty much to any part of the city.
Other Things to Note
California is in a severe drought, so please help to conserve water as much as you can. Simple things like limiting length of showers, not running water while you brush your teeth, and the like can make a positive impact.
Please remove shoes inside. You can keep them in the hall closet.
No smoking inside. If you are a smoker, please smoke on the curb. Do NOT smoke in the stairwells or back deck, as it disturbs the neighbors. Thanks for understanding.
very nice appartment. As nice as described. good location. i recommend the place.
Margaret was very welcoming and accommodating! We arrived early and she was still cleaning the unit, but let us drop our bags and pick up keys so we could enjoy our activities for the day without worrying about our bags! The space is very comfortable and relaxing, we felt really welcomed. The location is convenient and in a relatively quiet neighborhood for San Francisco. Quick walk to some local haunts! Overall, loved the spot, but the real highlight was Margaret as host!
Good place to stay close to Golden Gate park. Appartment has all facilities needed. Margaret is fantastic host. Thanks a lot for hospitality. Fully recommend.
Margaret made us feel very welcome. She graciously arranged for her place to be ready for us a little before typical check-in which we really appreciated. Her place was just as pictured and perfect for our family of 4. We very much enjoyed our stay.
It's really suitable for the family travel! We enjoyed this homelike staying. The traffic and all kinds of supplements are very convenient around.
Margaret's apartment was the perfect base for our week in San Francisco. It had everything we needed plus some thoughtful little extras. The beds are very comfortable and we appreciated the space to hang / store our clothes. It is on a quiet street but within really easy walking distance to two bus routes that go into the heart of the city. There are a couple of grocery stores close by and some nice local eateries. Thanks again Margaret!
Margaret's apartment is as advertised. It is wonderfully decorated, comfy and spacious. Margaret left a nice letter for us upon our arrival which was a nice touch. She is also extremely organized and had a binder full of important information about the apartment and the neighborhood. My family enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to coming back to her apartment when we come back to SF! Thanks, Margaret!

About the Host, Margaret
Passionate about life and all its possibilities -- the people you meet, the places you see, the experiences you have and of course, all the fantastic food you get to eat along the way! I have a voracious appetite for new encounters, exploration and discovery of potential in all its forms.
I enjoy surfing, yoga, friends and family, outdoors and all things natural, as well as some of the finer things in life. I'm originally from Texas, but have been a California resident for more than half my life now. So, I consider myself an honorary Californian, and my heart is in San Francisco.
