- Some buildings don't like frequent guests. If someone asks you for any reason about your stay, you can just let them know you are my personal guests (as you are!), without mentioning airbnb.
- Please refrain from knocking on other people's doors. If you have any questions, or anything that you'd like to ask for, kindly contact us.
- This smoke-free building prohibits smoking, including the balcony. Please do not smoke near the building. Smoking will forfeit the security deposit.
- Please remove your shoes before walking inside
- Please be considerate of our neighbors and ask if you would like to bring a friend to visit
- Please return keys to proper place before departure. Lost access fobs will incur a $150 fee for replacement
- No candles or open flames
- Please let me know If there is any damage to the apartment. We can usually work it out pretty easily
- Please clean up promptly if you cook or bring food into the apartment
- Do turn off the air/heat and lights when you leave the apartment
- At the end of your stay, please try to leave the apartment in the same condition as when you arrived (help our cleaners :)
- The Golden Rule: Treat the apartment like your own home
- Enjoy your stay!
Once again our stay at Nuna's apartment was great! It has an awesome view, great amenities and the unit is beautiful. Checking in and out was very simple and convenient! Love the location too. Thanks again Nuna for another wonderful stay!
Everything was great. It was a great location and apartment. Our trip was fantastic, and Nuna was very easy to get in touch with in case there was something we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The space was great and as described. Beautiful panoramic view from corner wall to ceiling windows and nice kitchen. Bed was very comfy. Good communication with host as well. No cable but not a big deal. Nice welcoming goodies in the fridge. Thanks Nuna for your hospitality.
This was actually my first ever Airbnb experience and there were definitely a few hiccups.
I don't think Nuna's apartment is actually anybody's home or that "Nuna" exists. I was contacted by a service called Guesty that was supposed to help Nuna with her listing, but was later informed the apartment belonged to the ZenDenChicago umbrella of properties.
The process to pick up the keys was a bit annoying and seemed a bit shady. Had to go to an apartment building a few blocks down and retrieve them from a cabinet inside of the buildings lobby. Problem was that the doorman wasn't there to let me in so I had to wait outside for over an hour to get the keys.
The apartment itself was really nice, so no complaints there.
It being my first time using Airbnb I mistakenly booked for a nigh less than I needed to stay and got a call from a guy (guessing he works for ZenDen) saying the cleaning people came to the apartment and all my stuff was still there. I asked if I could stay an extra night, but that wasn't possible, so I rushed back (luckily the office i was at was right across the street) and got all my stuff out within 20 minutes. I was still charged for late check out :(
Overall not the best first Airbnb experience, but some of that can be chalked up to it being my first time.
Please accept my apologies for the wait during check in. I'd like to
assure you that this was a one-time occurrence. We find that, checking in
at that location is usually quite efficient, so we were quite surprised
when you had to wait for the keys. We'd love to welcome you back here,
Nuna was a great host! Our stay at this unit was awesome as well. The view is incredible to say the least and the unit itself is really nice. Only set back was that it's right next to the train tracks so it can get a little noisy for some but it didn't bother me. Also the tv channels are somewhat limited.
All in all I really enjoyed staying at this unit and would without a doubt recommend this place. Thank you Nuna and the Guesty Team!
Me and my boyfriend visited Chicago on the first (cold) week of December for some business but also sightseeing. We liked the apartment of Nuna and here is a small description of our whole experience with the host and the flat:
Great communication with Nuna and her team, immediate answers.
Excellent location, in walking distance from a lot of places like restaurants, bars, groceries, etc.
Very good apartment view.Clean and spacious.
Even if the apartment was in the last floor, there was noise from the street, especially in the morning. It was not such a big issue for both of us, but you should be prepared in any case.
The apartment was a bit cold when the radiators were not on.
Not so fast internet connection.
Finally, we had an overall lovely stay in Nuna's appartement and i would recommend it.

I am Nuna, the oldest of six children in our family of eight. After several years as a Princeton Review academic consultant, I will be attending University of Chicago in the fall for a teaching graduate program.
Growing up in big family meant we never had the luxury to stay in nicer hotels or even travel by plane. We want to offer our family and friends a 5 star accommodation as a thank you for their hospitality over the years. Family, friends and colleagues are all welcome to stay when they visit us in Chicago. We only ask that you donate to a charity of your choice and help our cause to fight for education.
Our "Zen Den" has been designed to reflect our family values and ideals.
