Fondazione Bondarev is not a typical stay. It is an expressive loft apartment shaped by art, raw textures, open space, and the feeling of living inside a working creative world that feels bold, personal, and deeply atmospheric.
The location is ideal for guests who want to walk around and explore the area easily. Cafes, restaurants, galleries, shops, and cultural spots are all within easy reach, while the home itself remains tucked away in a small alley.
The space
Next to the apartment, through the wide glass, is a family heritage temple ground, creating a rare visual and emotional contrast — the expressive world of the artist's loft beside the timeless presence of Balinese tradition. Two different worlds, quietly existing side by side.
Fondazione Bondarev is ideal for guests looking for something more personal than a regular stay: artists, writers, couples, solo travelers, or anyone who wants to experience Ubud from a more intimate and imaginative perspective.

The whole space of the property is private. You will have private access to the entire space of the house. All yours.

-- The parking space can only accommodate two-wheelers (scooters/motorbikes/bikes). No car parking is available.
-- Please note that, once in a while, the landlord may access the entrance gate through the outdoor storage area for a quiet Balinese morning prayer. This will not disturb your stay, and the landlord will not enter the indoor apartment or your private living space.
-- Please note that the apartment is located next to a family heritage temple. On certain occasions, there may be noise sounds from Balinese prayer or ceremony activities next door. This is part of the unique atmosphere of the home and offers a closer sense of the local surroundings.
-- Please note that the apartment located in Tropic weather, so don't upset with the local inhabitants; lizard & spiders help fight unwanted insects.
-- The loft may not be suitable for infants, young children, or guests with limited mobility. The apartment has open structural stairs with no railing and exposed edges, which require extra care when in use. For safety, guests should use the stairs with caution at all times.
-- Fresh bedding/bed linen and towels at check-in. If you stay longer than 3 nights, bed linen are changed 2x a week and towels are changed 3x a week. If you require daily changes for sheets and towels, please be advised that there will be an additional charge for express laundry services.
-- Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay. In the event of any damage, please inform the host.
-- The maximum number of guests allowed to stay is 3 people. For each additional guest and kids above 2 years old, there will be an extra charge of IDR750,000 per person per night, which includes an extra bed.
-- Rescheduling or changing the reservation dates will only be accepted if the guest makes the request at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.
-- Safety & responsibility
While the property is designed for comfort and ease, guests are responsible for their own safety during their stay, including the use of the pool, stairs, and open areas. Guests are responsible for securing doors and personal belongings during their stay. Children should be supervised at all times, particularly around the pool and outdoor areas.
-- Complaints & concerns
Our on-site operational manager is available to assist throughout your stay. Should anything require attention, please let the team know promptly so it can be addressed. If no concerns are raised during the stay, we will assume everything is in order.
