The Neighborhood

Napa Valley is a world reknown travel destination. We love the northern part of the wine country. Calistoga offers the tranquil setting that one is looking for in a vacation or break away. In many ways Sonoma and Alexander Valley offer the relaxed traveler a lot of opportunities, especially for the ones that look for family-owned/boutique wineries or for people that long for "just a weekend away" with family and friends from the city.

  • We had a fantastic time at the Napa Wine Country retreat - farm. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped (they even had a high chair for our baby girl!) The property is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. And what a treat to be able to eat outside at night and enjoy a glass of wine in the jacuzzi in a very serene environment!

  • We rented both properties together for a group of 4 adults and 5 children. The cottages are clean, beautiful and extremely well-equipped (coffee pot, coffee and grinder provided!), and are set one minutes's walk apart in a landscape of gentle hills and lovely old trees, with an orchard and vegetable garden. The location is ideal for exploring the wine valleys and if was fantastic to be able to return to base, put the kids to bed, open a bottle of local wine and cook a big meal in cozy surroundings. Peter and Meike were a delight to deal with. Very highly recommended.
