Other Things to Note
We can arrange day trips to the 27 Waterfalls, Sand Island, see the Manatees, to go and spend the day on the beach and eat fresh caught fish, or go and catch your own, with local fishermen, or play tourist at a fancy hotel on the beach with a day pass. We will show the Dominican Republic by Dominicans who are working for you directly and therefore have a vested interest is seeing that you are well taken care of.
Enjoy, relax, explore and be a part of the Dominican culture, the people, the food, the music and the warm sultry breezes.
Lovely, quiet and peaceful place to stay just outside of Santiago. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Staff was super helpful.
Great off the beaten path spot. Relaxing and in the middle of a garden, my wife and I really enjoyed a relaxing time here. Erick was super helpful giving us directions and tips on how to get around. He was kind enough to pick us up from the airport at 4:30am too! We enjoyed a simple breakfast one of the mornings which was also nice. We recommend this place!

I am a Canadian travel dialysis nurse, who has been to Saudi Arabia, Hawaii, British Columbia, all across the US and have been blessed to have SANA.
When I was in Yemen and stayed in Sanaa, (Arabic name meaning brilliant, radiance). I thought what a nice name, and that it could one day stand for Sharon Ann Nickerson and Associates, which now it does.
SANA also means healthy in Spanish. El Jardin Secreto (the Secret Garden) from the book, where an abandoned garden is transformed into a thing of natural beauty. SANA was a barren piece of property in 1993. The owners dismantled their wooden house and took it with them when they sold. The property has been transformed into the garden it is today, with love and patience and lots of trial and error. SANA has had the privilege to host physically and mentally challenged individuals as well as missionary groups while they are completing the charitable missions in our area. Youth in transit while backpacking or on lay over into and out of Haiti. Birthday parties and family reunions.!
The SANA Crew consists of Erick Rodriguez our manager, Frank our English/Spanish speaking driver and tour guide, and Noami our housekeeper and cook. SANA is cooperative, the Crew is there for you, and work directly for you.
Tono is our house sitter and lives on the gated property at the back of the house.
Oh yes, and Amber and Amberita and Ambi, our friendly dogs are part of our crew as well.
My motto: Think Good Thoughts, They Become YOU.
