Private room in beautiful Victorian in the center of the vibrant Mission district. Close to all the restaurants and bars here, and just a block from the BART light rail system. Well traveled international family welcome you to their home.
Beautiful two-story Victorian home with large back garden. We are renting a quiet sunny double room with access to any/all amenities we have here.
We love our home. It's uncluttered, calm and, we hope you'll agree, tastefully decorated.
We are in the heart of the Mission district, and yet the house is refreshingly peaceful, and the large back garden is an oasis of calm.
Should note that we have a cat and a parrot for anyone who might have allergies.
Towels and linens supplied. Free wireless internet.
Parking can be difficult if you want to leave a car here during the day time. Evenings/nights not a problem, but permits are required for most streets around here. That's the joy of being a block from BART; hopefully you won't need a car.
We both work 9-6ish, so won't be around during the day time. Happy to give information about how to enjoy your time in San Francisco.
We are in the heart of the Mission, that is itself the heart of the city. Everything is within walking distance. Best restaurants, bars, cafes...Mission Pie is about 50 paces from the front door, and La Taqueria - voted best taqueria in the city every year - is maybe 65 paces away.
It's all here.
One block from the 24th and Mission BART station, which means very easy airport transfers. There's also a bus line that runs along Mission St to get downtown.
If you do bring a car, we are really close to 101 and 280.
Forewarning: our cocaktoo, Pooh, gets very excited to meet new people. He can be a little loud at times, but never after 8pm when he goes to bed, then he's quiet until at least 8am. Most people adore him; he's one of the most photographed things in the Mission!

Loved our stay with Natasha and Kai. And of course with their small menagerie...
The house is so beautiful, inside and out and the location in the hip and vibrant Mission district is just perfect. Natasha made us feel very very welcome and gave us the best tips on food and such. Don't miss out on Mission Pie, it's divine!
We would absolutely love to come back!
Beautiful and imaginatively furnished home in a lively, diverse neighborhood. Natasha was a gracious, warm, and extremely helpful host. We followed her recommendations for places to see and eat at and were not disappointed.
Great house and great first AirBnB experience. I wasn't there for long but I can validate that all the other reviews are bang on the money for this listing.
Enjoyed my stay with Natasha and her husband very much. Great company, great coffee and the glass of wine was a nice treat! Darling home and sweet pets, close to Bart! No TV (which was nice) but I missed the morning news. I'll definately be back!
I'm not going to lie, we picked this place to meet Pooh the parrot and he did not disappoint! ;-) We had a lovely stay with Natasha in her beautiful home. The location is perfect - very close to public transit and nearby to all my favorite bakeries - Mission Pie, Tartine and Arizmendi! Would highly recommend.
We had a great stay at Natasha's and Kai's house! It's in a great area - easy to get to and from San Fransico airport and Oakland airport. Great range of cafes and restaurants to eat at and close to public transport. We felt very welcome and at ease in their home and I must mention, the photos on AirBnb do not do the house justice - the house is amazing! We would definately stay with Natasha and Kai again.
My husband and I totally loved staying in Natasha's and Kai's home. We had a hilarious "Hello" greeting by Pooh the parrot and I got to pet Max, the black cat. The location is the best: one block away from the Bart, right on Mission with its central american flavour, and Valencia, with trendy coffee places. Natasha and Kai are great hosts and we would definitely love to stay again.
This was definitely the ideal place to stay. We loved being so close to the BART (only a block away) to get into the city. There were so many choices of great streets nearby to eat, drink and shop. Natasha and Kai were very helpful in giving information and suggestions of places to visit. We loved meeting Max and Pooh. This was a great way to be introduced to San Francisco.
Wonderful stay-I'd highly recommend staying with Natasha and Kai. Their house is absolutely gorgeous, and they were wonderful and accommodating hosts for the short time I was there. A stop at Mission Pie (recommended by Natasha) is a must.
Natasha's place was really great. The house had a wonderfully warm feel. The street is a little loud from the outside, but when you step inside, it's private, quiet and feels very welcoming. The room worked well - all the information was easily accessible. Transportation-wise, it was easy to get to and there's a lot of things in the neighborhood to eat, see and visit.
I loved watching the bird and petting the sweet cat. I would love to come back in the summer and sit in the backyard space.
