We live off the grid here, so no hair dryers please or anything that heats up. If a hair dryers is a must, please use briefly and during the hours the sun is out on the solar panels.

Casa Cactus is in a neighborhood, so we ask that 'quiet time' be from 10p.m. til 7:00 a.m. Sound travels.

Please no smoking in the house area. A short walk down the driveway would be great!

Sorry, no pets.

Cabo Pulmo is an extremely rare & beautiful place to visit. Rare in that it is a little town, off the grid, with fans and little or no aircon. Restaurants open randomly, and close early, ice cream (apart from some kids selling homemade) is almost non-existent. There's no American brands there, in fact hardly anything there. Excellent diving, snorkeling, beach, stars like you've never seen, dirt roads, great pizza and thousands of cacti is it. We went there to scuba dive and we experienced some of the best diving in the world, and having dived for 30 years I saw some sights that I had never seen before. We loved the town (good cell signal), it was peaceful and brilliant. We loved the beach, almost deserted most days. We chose to stay at Casa Cactus. Take the entire house, it is perfectly located, beautifully set and architected and extremely well equipped. It is a different experience and might put off some townies as there are ceiling fans and free standing fans and no aircon. The downstairs area has a courtyard area open to the stars, and adjacent to the dining area, lounge and kitchen, you are really at one with nature. The whole house is surrounded by a wall and antique doors, you feel safe and secure and you have tons of space to replace and chill. The bedrooms (2) each with an en suite are excellent and comfy. We stayed there a week and then went on to Cabo San Lucas (what a dump) and missed Casa Cactus almost immediately. The management of the property is excellent, like a fine waiter, there when you need them but otherwise not in your face. Whenever we needed something they were only to willing to assist us and help us, they really care that you are comfortable and that everything works. Just what you need when you are staying 10 miles or so along a dirt road, off the grid. We're planning our next visit (for the diving this time in winter) and will stay for 4-5 nights, maybe longer:) Thoroughly recommend.

Everything about Casa Cactus was absolutely perfect! The pictures don't do it justice! Cheryl was incredibly friendly and accommodating, she really knows the town and gave us great recommendations for everything. We've already planned our return to Pulmo in October cause we had such a great time at Casa Cactus.

I am so glad we chose Cabo Pulmo as our destination this year and beyond pleased that we chose to stay in Cheryl's Casa Cactus. This place is truly like no where else. The village is full of friendly people and the beaches are pristine. Cheryl helped us plan our short four night stay so we could make the most out of our time. The fishing trip, snorkeling off the beaches, and hiking in the mountains was all amazing! My boyfriend and I, along with two other friends, rented out the entire Casa Cactus. We loved spending our time on the upper deck of the house watching the sunsets and enjoyed taking afternoon naps on the daybed in the courtyard downstairs. We had so much fun and I cant wait to return!

Casa Cactus is beautiful and unique. The house is nestled in thick desert landscape with gorgeous mountain and ocean vistas, sounds of birds and waves. The house has a lot of style and is well maintained with every amenity you might need (shampoo, beach bags, fresh water, juicer, etc) available. Cheryl has a great place! We hope to be back soon!
