As is well-known, California is a sunny state. How sunny is it? In November, December, January, February and March, the geranium flowers are still blooming in my front garden, the grass and plants are still green. It is perfect to come to this area to do some hiking, walking and running on the trails with the best quality air from the ocean and the primitive trees. Good health is the best wealth. I am a language professor at the prestigious Institute, enjoy cooking, running, music, movie, reading and community life. After finishing the teaching job, I am dedicated to hosting Airbnb guests.
Hosting the delightful people from all over the world has enriched my life. A few years ago I traveled to one of the southern cities in America on TDY and visited a large beautiful Botanical Garden in Alabama. An American couple worked hard, day and night, raising and maintaining the variety of beautiful plants and gorgeous flowers in the garden presenting them for the public and tourists to enjoy the beauty of these plants and flowers. There was an eye-catching sign carved with the famous saying of Benjamin Franklin:" Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise". Inspired by the spirit of the diligent and down-to-earth American couple, I started hosting the Airbnb guests, presenting the clean, warm and comfortable rooms to the guests. In addition to doing a full-time teaching job, I did my best making every guest feel at home and satisfied by working long hours . Communicating and interacting with the guests from different countries has become a fun part of my life. Some French guests talked about their popular saying in France: "The Day belongs to those who wake up early". Other guests shared the stories of their traveling experiences, their home countries, cultures and their history. Some German guests shared their cuisine. Those touching comments, sincere and glowing reviews warmed my heart every day. These positive and high-quality people's words counteracted my daily fatigue and stress. It was these nice and lovely people that made me feel so worthwhile working hard for them.
During my TDY in the past years, I stayed in one of the Marriott Hotels in Alabama. I was deeply impressed by the "Southern Hospitality". From the General Manager to the Staff of the Cafeteria, everyone was so nice, warm-hearted and hospitable. I traveled so far away from California to Alabama and received such a warm and unforgettable welcome and hospitality in Alabama. The rosy memories were so long-lasting and vivid that I could remember them for a long time. Back from the south of America I passed the southern hospitality to everyone I know and to all the guests who stayed in my homes. Please rest assured that everything will be taken good care of from room temperature to the free parking. I try my best to be more flexible and adaptable to any changing situation.
