If you need an extra comfortable & casual place to sleep then this may be your place! You will have a great night sleep with little disturbance, and full access to the rest of the house. There is storage for baggage, kitchen, wifi & printer.
If you are travelling to San Diego, then I can't think of a better location than North Park. It is close to everything, the beach, parks, downtown, shopping malls, the zoo, Balboa Park, airports etc etc. It is also pedestrian and bike friendly!
We live in an 835 sq. ft. apartment. There are three other apartments in our entire building. Our place is on the ground floor. We have a large shared yard.
We are located on a large quite road in a peaceful neighborhood. Parking on the road is easy during the day but during the night you may have to park further away on a neighboring road which surround us.
Our neighbors are very nice. We occasionally hear the toddler upstairs but noise is rarely an issue during the night.
SLEEPING: The double sofa is said by our guests to be exceptionally comfortable and it accommodates two people. Our futon bed is slightly smaller but also accommodates two. The third person can sleep on a large comfortable blow up bed which blows up in less than 3mins.
Towels and sheets are included. Just ask if you need a clean towel.
*Please use our kitchen to cook and save cash. (Fridge, freezer, mini-oven for quick heating, coffee, tea, pots, pans, baking ware)

I highly recommend renting a car instead of relying on public transport as you will get a lot more out of your trip. The USA is built for cars.
* I have collected a lot of brochures from around town including maps. So let me know if you are interested in anything in particular!
These accommodations are more like a hostel. It is shared space. The location is convenient for taking the bus. There is also a healthy food market, library and other shops nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I enjoyed a nice walk to the University Heights shopping district and ate at the most delicious vegetarian restaurant named Plumeria.
Greatly enjoyed my stay here! Great people to talk to and provided a very comfortable atmosphere. Was able to find parking on the street without issue.
Very nice, hospitable people; it's a lively household. They invited me to have a wonderful dinner with them. These hosts will engage you in conversation, or let you be in your own space. It feels more European, than American, which makes for more stimulating experience.
The sofa was comfy, and there were very cozy warm blankets as well. Also felt very safe.
As we arrived we got chocolates as a welcome gift and brochures, which was very nice of them. The house itself was not very clean nor neat, as shown on the pictures.
Breakfast consisted of coffee.
We were woken up at 7am because the little boy woke up at that time which is understandable since he's only a child, but the point is that we were not warned about this prior to booking their place.
Nothing to complain about. Galina and Tristan receveid us for the second time and, as expected, everything went perfect.
Galina and her family were very welcoming during my 2 day stay at their home. The sofa was extremely comfortable, and Galina and her husband were more than kind enough to offer coffee and biscuitd in the morning. They offered terrific suggestions for places to grab a solid cup of coffee and read. We talked extensively about social norms and the family's experience with conforming to norms typical in the U.S I would undoubtedly stay with them again in the future...
Galina and her husband were reqlly kind. The place is exactly as it is mentioned and that was what we werre looking for.
Extremely nice host!! Clean, affordable and comfy! Thanks Galina!!!
This was my first airbnb experience and must say that Galina and her family are great! Their little boy Demetrious is lovely! We stayed for 3 nights. They made us breakfast every morning, provided towels , and also told us some good sightseeing spots in SD! The place is well located (close to the bus stop), and the sofa-bed is very comfortable. I strongly recommend her place.
very nice sofa warm and cosy nice breakfast and talk
