We are a young couple with a friendly hypoallergenic terrier on Capitol Hill listing our private basement level room. This room stays warm in the Winter and cool in the Summer. Our location is central to everything Capitol Hill has to offer
Although our home is listed as an apartment it's more like a townhouse. The layout of the complex is very cozy and secluded-surrounded by English style gardens and trees, you'll hardly feel like you are staying in the heart of Capitol Hill. Clean towels and linens will be provided along with a french press and fresh coffee. As for the neighborhood, there are too many restaurants, bars, cafes and parks in this incredibly vibrant and fun neighborhood to list. We are located just 6 blocks East of the West Lake Light Rail station. One block West of Broadway and one block North of the Pike/Pine corridor. A short walk from the Washington State Convention Center.
Full washer and dryer available at $2 per load
All guests will have access to the kitchen and it's utensils. The bathroom, living room and back patio are all available for guest use.
We work 9-5 jobs so check in will have to be after 5pm during the week but there is a chance one of us will be home during normal business hours so just ask. We can be flexible with your schedule. Guests can check in anytime on the weekend. Checkout will be at 11am.
We are located one block from all major bus lines and 6 blocks from the light rail which can transport you cheaply and easily to the airport or train/bus station. With an overall walking score of 90.
There is street parking available that is zoned for a 2 hour maximum limit during the hours of 9am to 6pm Monday through Saturday. Between 6pm and 9am street parking is unlimited. If you would rather park in a garage there is one located immediately nearby as well as two non-covered lots. Both options cost around $5-$10 per day.

everything was fine. in the very middle of Seattle close to downtown. thanks a lot
Tommy and Cayla are great hosts, friendly, easy going, open-minded...and soon married! We had chance to have a drink and a chat together, Tommy was also very helpful suggesting places to visit and eat in Seattle. The location is great, right in the heart of Capitol Hill's night life, 20min walk to Seattle downtown. The room is in the basement, it is well kept and clean, the bed is comfortable.
I'd definitely go back there for a next visit in Seattle.
Great quiet spot! Will be back :)
Tommy was very helpful, we got a little lost finding our way but Tommy was very responsive and helpful in directing us to the right spot. We chatted a bit with his fiance who gave us a tour of the place and showed us our room. They have a very friendly and cute dog! They were both great hosts The room is very private, and comfy! It's a short walk to a lot of food and bars in Capitol Hill. We would stay there again!
Tommy was very accommodating and welcoming even though I arrived quite late in the evening. The room is cozy and the location central. Would recommend!
Tommy is a very nice guy. The room is clean and tidy, and the location is great. Highly recommended!
My trip to Seattle was amazing and it began with an introduction from a great host, Tommy C. This was my first AirBnB host, and this experience has shaped my opinion for future AirBnB hosts. The room was clean, private and comfortable, and yet still I felt like I was staying with an old friend versus being in a fussy hotel room.
If you're looking to meet great people and stay in a great location, choose Tommy. You won't be disappointed!
A welcome and inviting stay in (email hidden)anks Tommy and Cayla!
Tommy is a very kind host, the apartment is beautifully located in downtown Seattle, and the basement room was quiet and comfortable. All good!
What a comfortable bed! And their dog is cute and well-behaved too. Much thanks to Tommy for being understanding about my travel schedule and accommodating about my unpredictable check in time.
I was in town for a conference at the Westin Seattle, then to see Imagine Dragons at KeyArena. Being so close to the Pike/Pine corridor is very convenient, and makes downtown very accessible by foot if you can spare the time it talks to travel by walking.
The Westlake Station that connects to the Monorail and the Light rail are a 15 min minute walk away, and the Convention Place bus station is 10 minutes away from Tommy's place. Just a note for anyone who is interested in taking public transit.
One last tip for fellow travelers who choose to stay here: Tommy's townhouse is located in a cozy and secluded complex. [Yes, this is stated in the description :)] I wandered up and down the street confused for a bit not knowing I had to walk up and into the complex to find their address.
I phoned Tommy who came to meet me right away and offered to take my bag before leading me past all these gardens and up the steps to their place in the corner of the complex. If you're looking for a quiet place in an accessible area, this is the room for you!
