1. Please let us know what time you will be checking in. We both work downtown on weekdays from 9-5. On occasion I may be home early on a Friday afternoon but otherwise, please make whatever arrangements necessary for a check-in between 5 and 11pm if you arrive on a weekday. We understand many things can go awry when traveling and just ask for your best efforts to arrive on time.
2. No additional guests outside of those agreed upon and paid for.
3. Please fill out your air bnb profile so we may know who we are letting into our home. Please be nice. Understand that this is our home, not a hotel and not our primary business. We have a simple, clean, downstairs room that suites the needs of most air bnb guests perfectly and if you have realistic expectations, we would love to host you and will make you feel most welcome. We love our neighborhood and giving dining and entertainment recommendations so don't hesitate to ask!
This was perfection! They were gracious and flexible with my last minute reservation and the communication was stellar. Cayla was patient with my poor skill for direction, and Tommy put up with me literally flying put their front door as I was late for a breakfast engagement. The room is very private, the window blinds can be closed to make it pitch black, the bed was comfortable. I'd absolutely stay again.
Our hosts were very welcoming and we really liked the vibe of the apartment (If you're into interior decoration, vintage and unique pieces this is the Seattle place for you). It was tucked away in a small apartment community with little paths and gardens. I actually felt like I wasn't in a Seattle apartment complex at all, like it was a real bungalow getaway. The only regret is that we wish we could have stayed longer but our guests accommodated our short stay and we appreciated it.
tommy and cayla were excellent hosts! super welcoming and great to chat with. the room was very comfortable and the neighborhood was awesome. great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. thanks so much for sharing your home with us!!
Wow Tommy, thanks for the hospital, you and Cayla are great, since we were chatting, I had the feeling that you were really nice, this was my first time staying in airbnb. Tommy had a lot of patient waiting for me to fill the application and information of myself, I know, I don't have any reference but, I know I will build it up, Tommy, Cayla and his cute dog welcomed me, he explained me everything around the house as well Tommy tour me around it. The location is very good, you can walk around for dinner, bars, very good coffee store, in general was great, thanks again.
We had a great time in Seattle. Tommy and his wife were welcoming, and even allowed us to watch a game on their TV. Their place is located in a great spot, which allowed us to walk downtown easily. We are glad we picked Tommy to host us!
My wife Cayla and I rent out our private basement room on Capitol Hill. We have a very clean, tidy house in the heart of Capitol Hill near many bars and restaurants. We promise clean linens, towels and fresh ground coffee in the morning while you enjoy your stay with us. Seattle is a great city and we'll make sure you feel welcome!
