The experience while staying in Janna's guest house exceeded expectations. Not only is the home perfect in terms of comfort and privacy, it has practically everything you could want for a short or long term visit. Janna is an absolutely fantastic host, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and make our stay worry-free. It is almost a shame we have to leave!
Janna has completely spoiled us! I’m not sure if we’ll be able to stay in a hotel again, because she has been more gracious of a host than any hotel experience we’ve ever had. A friend and I stayed at her guesthouse for 11 days and I couldn’t imagine staying at a better place in L.A. If I need to come back here, I’m hoping Janna’s house is available! Where to start. The guesthouse itself was AMAZING! Beautifully furnished, cozy, spacious, and a host that words cannot describe. The TV was out of this world and with all the channels you get, if you just want to stay in one night, you’ll have unlimited entertainment. There was food in the fridge and cabinets, plenty of plates and utensils, shampoo, conditioner, hair products, towels, toothpaste, tooth brushes, razors, shaving cream, terry cloth robes and on, and on, and on. Can you name a single hotel which provides so much? I can't!
My friend and I are very self-sufficient. Because of this, Janna was actually worried when she hadn't heard us request anything. My friend asked Janna if she could grab some limes off one of her many citrus trees and the next day there was a bowl of freshly picked fruit outside our door. Another day, there were croissants. What hotel does that??? If you are going to stay for a long time, there’s a hamper to put dirty towels and the next day they are clean. (Not that you would even need towels cleaned during your entire stay! There are about 15 full-sized towels stocked already in the house) The location also couldn't be more perfect. Just 2 miles down the road is Hollywood Blvd. Just six blocks away you’ll find a 24hr. Ralphs, Starbucks and many food options.
My only complaint was that we weren't staying at her house during the summer so we could take advantage of her beautiful pool. Seriously, that was the only complaint.
GREAT NEWS! If you are looking for beautiful, posh, luxurious accommodation, look no further. We were in paradise in this gorgeous brand new 2 bedroom home behind a beautiful mansion. The pool was absolutely magnificent and the peace and quiet was priceless. All of our expectations were met by our delightful host, Janna. Comfortable beds with top of the line bedding, gorgeous furnishings, a huge shower with endless hot water, perfect wifi and every channel imaginable. This home is convenient to all parts of town and parking in driveway next to home can't be beat. We were sad to leave and can't wait to return to this beautiful home. Thank You!
Janna's place is perfect and she is a wonderful host. I have stayed in lots of places in L.A. and this was definitely the best experience. Conveniently located and full of amenities - you will absolutely not find better value. Easy parking, lots of living space - Janna's place has everything you need.
From start to finish, our expectations were exceeded. The house was great, lots of privacy, pool was in great shape and the location can't be beat! You can walk to Ralph's Grocery store, and you can walk a bit further to Larchmont area for great coffee and restaurants. The master bedroom is great - lots of space, TONS of closet space - bathroom shower is big and great pressure/temperature. AND AN AWESOME BLOW DRYER, yay! The upstairs loft with the private balcony was great and gave our teenage kids their own space. Two TVS are great, lots of channels, movies and your own PVR! Loved the treats that Janna left us so we didn't have to rush out and get breakfast for our first morning. Our hostess was full of great suggestions and anticipated our needs ahead of time! She was VERY accommodating and responsive when we had questions and very respectful of our space too. The kitchen is fully stocked but there is no oven, just a microwave and a hot plate with two burners which was fine for us as we rarely had dinner at home. Parking in the driveway was great and we did not feel we were walking through someone else's space to get to the pool. I am reluctant to give such a rave review because we know that we will definitely be back and so want to ensure it's available!
