Steps from countless restaurants, shops, subways, & the West Village!
Sunny, clean, and charming with living room, kitchen, bathroom, massive skylight, and white exposed brick throughout.
Queen bed, full bed, and large sofa for sleeping.
The listing is for my sunny two-bedroom apartment in Soho, just a block from the West Village.
The apartment has two clean, comfortable bedrooms. The first room has a full-sized bed and two closets, one of which is shelved and the other of which is for hanging clothes. There are two windows and an air conditioner.
The second bedroom is where I live, but I'm away most weekends. It has a new queen-sized bed, a writing desk, and two big windows. The room is pretty large by Soho standards.
I provide clean sheets and towels.
The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, so each room has privacy. Between the two bedrooms are two common spaces connected by a kitchen. One is the living room, with two sofas and an entertainment center with a new 50" plasma. One of the sofas is about the size of a twin bed, perfect for a fifth guest.
The other common space is a small breakfast/reading area with a huge mirror, bookshelf, chairs, and a small table.
There is, of course, a bathroom with a shower.
Every room in the apartment has lots of light thanks to the many windows and the massive skylight in the living room / kitchen.
The apartment is on the fifth floor of a walk-up. It's a very pretty, quiet block just steps from the bustling parts of Soho and West Village--easily the best neighborhoods in NYC (in my opinion).
Guests are free to use the whole apartment, including my speedy WIFI.
You're welcome to cook in the kitchen or use the TV in the living room, though of course there's lots of food and entertainment in the neighborhood. There are more bars, shops, and restaurants per block than anywhere else in NYC (and probably the world) just steps from the apartment. For starters, I recommend the fun neighborhood bar Mekong and the amazing restaurant Comodo just across the street!
The block and surrounding neighborhood are incredibly safe and well lit. You will feel perfectly safe walking around at night--I have never felt uncomfortable or encountered any trouble.
Several major subway lines are within a few blocks of the apartment, and cabs are plentiful on 6th Avenue. There is a Citibike station just about a block away.
Hi! I'm Jeff. I've lived in NYC for about 12 years and now work at a major sports league. If I'm not working or out with friends, then hopefully I'm traveling. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the apartment or NYC in general.
The appartment is very clean and comfortable and the location is perfect for visiting NYC. Jeff was very responsive to all our needs and a great host. We will come back again. Thanks!
