So arrived Monday afternoon and was picked up by Dewa (driver) who then brought me back to Little Tree. I was so pleased to see the place was exactly like the pictures. Although you would never know because it seems so hidden but I didn't have to worry because Dewa took me everywhere(5 stars for him). The room was a more than enough for me since I was traveling solo. The bathroom was outside, which I loved! The whole place gives you an authentic Balinese feel. If you want, you could even open both sliding window doors in your room. I loved suite D because I was able to walk right into the kitchen for coffee and water along with hang out in the open common area overlooking the pool. Overall experience was wonderful if/when I go back I'll be sure to go to Little tree again.
As far as Dwi, I'm not gonna lie I wasn't sure who she was because I thought she was a visiter too. It wasn't after Dewa had told me who she was, I then introduced myself. She's a very sweet and polite woman. She is often seen in and out. Another mention was Desa, the breakfast cook, also (website hidden). they have a puppy running around named Bella. If I could give 6 stars I would =)
I never actually met the host, however the staff I did meet were all friendly and helpful.
The place us in a great location with a short bike rude to shops along the beach, friendly hosts but not too much English.
This is a beautiful place to stay ! I loved the outdoor bathroom. Dewa was a great host and even offered to take us to a traditional Balinese ritual for someone in the community. Highly recommended.
The room is comfortable, good bed n outdoor bathroom nice. Good value but don't expect much service. They did vaguely tidy room daily but no clean towels etc. Open kitchen seating area pool nice enough but again don't expect any service from staff. I didn't meet owner whilst there. Location good, east walk to beach etc.
The room was lovely and the house is very quiet and relaxing. We loved the outdoor shower and swimming in the pool. It was not too far to the beach and street with restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and we really enjoyed the homemade breakfast! The roosters were a little noisy in the morning, but not too much of a problem. Would definitely recommend.
