The Space

Southern exposure and tall windows allow for great light all day long. Hardware floors and 14 ft ceilings make it a great place to do yoga, stretch, hula hoop, or unwind from a day on the town. We recently lofted our bedroom doubling the space available for projects and lounging- It has a proper staircase and great views.

We are located at the foot of the Williamsburg bridge allowing for quick access to Manhattan (5-7 minute drive), located on multiple bike lanes (10 minutes biking to Manhattan, Greenpoint, Fort Greene, etc), 2 blocks from the east river ferry ((website hidden)) and a short walk to the JM (7-8 minutes) and L trains (15 minutes).

Deli's, Grocery stores, and shops are all within a few blocks to pick up anything you may need. The unit has a full kitchen with gas range, microwave, and dehydrator, bathroom includes a full bathtub and shower, and our unit has a washer and dryer. High speed internet included.

Nearby hotspots include the famous Marlow & Sons, Diner, Bembe, Peter Lugers Steakhouse, Roebling Tea House, Dressler, Pies and Thighs, Moto, etc We also send a list of fun NYC things to do to all of our guests.

Guest Access

The entire space is yours (except the storage areas). Help your self to anything in the fridge or pantry.

Interaction with Guests

Our in-person interaction is usually pretty limited, we are usually either out of town or on the way to the airport by the time you arrive. However, we love meeting our guests when we overlap, its nice to show them around the apartment in person.

The Neighborhood

Its a quaint block in historic South Williamsburg. A culturally diverse neighborhood mixed with a laid back artistic vibe. Very quiet and well connected! We especially like biking around during the warmer months.

  • Ali & Justin were very friendly and responsive to our questions about getting to the apartment and how gain access. Fresh towels and a made up bed was waiting for us. The apartment was perfectly located in one of NYC's coolest neighbourhoods. It was nice and cozy in It's own quirky, caotic, artistic way and had everything You need for cooking, but not much space to eat it (there are no big tables and the small one has a lot much stuff on it than the picture). If You are into minimalistic style, this is not the place for You. We had a very nice stay though.

  • A lovely sanctuary in a great neighbourhood.

  • Ali and Justin's place is adorable and fun. It's full of funky crafts and circus props and lovely little things to admire. There's not a ton of open space for you to spread your own junk out (not much of an issue for us, as we were only there for the weekend), but the place otherwise could not have been better. It's beautiful, warm, welcoming, and gets tons of light. It felt like "home" very quickly. Plus, the apartment is in a very safe-feeling residential neighborhood that's about 5 blocks away from all of the awesomeness of Williamsburg. That means that nights are pretty quiet, but you're close to everything you might possibly want to do. Plus, Ali and Justin were very responsive via email/text and we felt well taken care of. We'd definitely stay with them again!

  • Our stay in Williamsburg was lovely. The flat is very nice, in a beautiful and slightly chaotic way. Comfortable bed on the mezzanine, sunny living room, fully-equipped kitchen and great shower. It is nice to be able to get around without the key, thanks to the codes. Ali & Justin even provide earplugs by the bed, which was appreciated since the neighbours were a bit noisy. This flat is not accessible to persons with mobility impairments

  • Staying at Ali and Justin's was our first AirBnB experience, and it was great. They were incredibly friendly and responsive (despite being out of the country) and offer a clean and comfortable place to stay in an amazing location. They also gave us a massive list of things to do which was incredibly helpful as you can’t go wrong with advice from locals!

Bedford Street is only a couple of blocks away, where you will find heaps of food, shops, bars; anything you need really, and the subway into Manhattan is only about a 10 minute walk away (less if you're a fast walker). The area feels very safe, and their apartment is just far enough away to not be in the middle of any noise, but close enough to get to food and fun in less than a 5 minute walk.

We would highly recommend their place to anyone who wants to stay outside of the city; it's a true home away from home.

    Thanks again Ali and Justin!

  • Justin and Ali are extremely kind, welcoming, and thorough hosts. They were very responsive and understanding. The place is wonderful and has an enchanting otherworldly quality to it. Only downside to the apartment is that its hard to find space to store your stuff, but hosts offered to pay for storage bins when I asked about this. A great area and awesome experience!

  • I would recommend Ali and Justin's place to any friend. It was a wonderful place to stay while taking in the New York energy. The apartment is sunny and comfortable, it really felt like home. There is a Citibike station just 1 block away, and the neighborhood is safe. We couldnt have been happier with our choice to stay there.
