The location is great and the room is bright and not too small. This is a really great place to stay if you are new to the city. Highly reccomended.
The location is very convenient: Within walk distance from the center and it's just 5 min from the Civic Center BART station which will take you to the airport or elsewhere. There is also a Caltrain station nearby which will take you to the valley.
I checked in late in the evening but everything was well prepared (codelocks to access keys, etc.). The wifi connection is very fast and realiable, the room and kitchen were very clean. The place is also quiet, which was important for me.
The room is very small but comfortable. The top bed on the bunker bed is very comfortable, although going up and down the ladder at night can be sometimes a pain. The mattress on the bottom didn't look very comfortable though, so I wouldn't necessarily advise it if you are looking for a place for 2 people.
Having a microwave and a fridge in the room is very convenient. The shared kitchen is very spacious and there's a lot of light. I sat there a few times to do some work. There's oven and stove if you want to cook, too.
I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable, clean and comfortable place in SF. I would stay there again in the future.
