Located in a renovated home originally built back in the 30's, this one bedroom ground floor condo has original hardwood floors, craftsman style accents, Jacuzzi tub, and washer/ dryer onsite, located within the galley kitchen.
Guests should expect a cozy chaise sofa, classically decorated rooms, antique furniture, a spacious bedroom, free Wi-Fi, courteous neighbors, but no TV. But in this neighborhood, who wants to stay inside?
Piedmont Park, 10th street, and all of the lovely restaurants in the vicinity are less than 10 minute walk from this location. The heart of the Virginia Highlands is a 20 minute walk in one direction and Peachtree St., the Federal Reserve, the Margaret Mitchell House, and the 999 Peachtree building is a 20 minute walk in the opposite direction. For art lovers, the Beep Beep Gallery (a spot for local artists) is literally next door, as is IHOP and Krispy Kreme is 3 blocks away. It is truly in the center of the city.
If guests prefer public transit, they will find this spot nestled between the North Avenue and Midtown MARTA stations; both within a short walking distance. If guests would prefer onsite parking behind a control access, gate, that can also be arranged in advance.
Because this is a small residential condo community in an older building, please be respectful and not slam doors/ be boisterous in the hall as voices, steps, and any other activities carry in the buildings. Feel free to use anything and everything in the kitchen, (with the exception of food and dry goods) just make certain it is washed and put back in its place before leaving.
Lora was the perfect host! Super welcoming and her condo was comfortable, clean and a perfect location to walk or take an Uber to everything we planned to go in our time in ATL. She was able to accommodate us on short notice as the other apt we had booked had a pipe burst before our stay. It turned out better for us in the long run. I DEF recommend Lora and her condo in Midtown.
Lora's place was convenient! Same goes for her service. We had a late arrival and she accommodated no problem. Location was real nice, walking distance from beautiful and active Piedmont Park.
The condo had all the essentials and served as an effective home base for our New Year's celebrations in Hotlanta. Old school decorations were a cool throwback for us, Xmas decorations, tree were up which was neat. All in all, served us well. Best part about the residence was location. Had the area recommended to us by a local and I would echo that advice - Piedmont Park area is classic. Good access to downtown, midtown, etc. Solid option.
Lora was AMAZING!!! Super welcoming and her apartment was comfortable, clean and a perfect location to walk to everything that we needed. I will DEFINITELY recommend Lora as a great host! Thank you!
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Awesome location!!! Lora was easy to deal with and place was affordable! Definitely would stay again!
Lora's condo is in a convenient location that is also safe and clean. Although, not a large space it was the perfect place to stay when wanting to visit either midtown or downtown with great restaurants and attractions within walking distance or a short cab ride away. Would highly recommend this condo to midtown Atlanta visitors who want to explore the midtown/downtown area.
Location, location, location. Very handy to everything. Walked to coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Midtown one direction....Traders Joe's, Starbucks, Mellow Mushroom, Richard's Variety Store (check it out!!) and a multi screen movie theater in another....all walk able :D Safe neighborhood. Lora was a great host. Very prompt response when we sent an inquiry to book and stayed available during our stay. No problems to complain about. Apartment nice size, separate large bedroom and comfortable bed. Thanks for sharing your place and providing us a quaint place to celebrate Christmas with our daughter. Happy New Year.
Hi I'm a young professional living in the heart of Atlanta, right by Piedmont Park. I'm self-employed, energetic, out-going, and an animal lover. I love taking part in all of Atlanta's attributes: the local arts scene (Castleberry Hill), music (Eddie's Attic, Lakewood Amphitheater, Variety Playhouse, 10 High, etc.), and fabulous restaurants in my neighborhood (Top Flr, Apres Diem, The Highlander, 10th and Piedmont, Hob Nob, etc.) Most weekends you will find me watching college and pro-football at one of the local bars or tailgating with friends. My home is my sanctuary and place of business, so you'll find I'm pretty organized and my surroundings are plush. My travel style is different though as I try to pack as many things into a trip as I can. As long as I have safe surroundings and a soft bed to land on, the rest is just icing. I want to be out and about as much as possible when travelling so as to not miss a thing! I find that life is less about waiting for the storms to pass and more about learning to dance in the rain.
