Open Design Williamsburg Loft

Loft - Entire home/apt · Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

New Listing! Amazing, open design 900 square foot loft in a famed Brooklyn former pasta factory. Bask under soaring 12 foot ceilings and a wall of windows with a view towards the Williamsburg bridge. You'll love the proximity to Manhattan, as well as everything Williamsburg has to offer.

The Space

Our comfortable, well-sorted loft will make a perfect backdrop to your New York visit. The huge space is designed around a unique bedroom built between the kitchen and living room; the wall facing the windows can be left open or closed for privacy through a custom built sliding door. We love the open feel so much that we rarely close it.

The bedroom has a queen size bed; inflate the full size Aerobed to sleep a total of 4. A fifth person could sleep quite well on the comfortable couch.

The enormous rooftop is a great feature of the experience. In addition to some of the best views of New York you'll ever see, so many of the great artists, photographers, writers, and musicians who live here congregate there regularly. We've got great friends here and the community is a special one.

If you like to cook, you'll love the kitchen. We have everything you need plus lots of space to work and eat! Try shopping for meats and produce at Marlow and Daughters down the street. However, if it's a night out you're looking for, you're in the right place. So many people come from around New York City right to Williamsburg for the restaurants and bars; the choices for quality food and drink are endless.

The East River Ferry is right across the street and not only is it a ridiculously fast way to get into Manhattan, it can also scoot you right over to other great Brooklyn neighborhoods like DUMBO and Greenpoint. By far the most fun way to get around New York.

Prefer bikes over boats? You can buy a Citibike pass and go everywhere you want to go from the Citibike station right on the corner. Riding down the designated waterfront bike path right from the station is a great way to check out the Manhattan skyline.

  • This is definitely a great place to stay while you're visiting NYC. The building has a lot of character and loft itself was perfect. Dave and Margo were both really helpful recommending bars and restaurants, music venues, etc. All around great experience.

  • We were four friends who stayed at Margo & Dave's place. Very nice loft, both cool and cozy. We bought food and ate breakfast at home every morning, and it really gave us the feeling of living in New York.

Margo, so lovely, met us at arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. She also took us up to the rooftop, amazing! At the kitchen counter they had left us a bottle of wine and notes with names and numbers for places to eat, see and a car service.

    We'd love to come again!

  • Dave and Margo are really great hosts! They met me at the loft and spent lots of time (as much as I wanted) showing me around, including a trip to the roof deck in 30 degree weather!! What an amazing skyline view from up there. They also gave me some great restaurant ideas and a nice bottle of wine. I had a great stay and really appreciated their personal touch!! Will come again.

  • Margo and Dave's place was awesome! The loft felt spacious and their design sense was inviting. I booked it for my friend (wish I had stayed there!) so didn't sleep there but met with Dave upon arrival and he was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop view is amazing, I'd love to come back in the summer or when it's more than 10 degrees out to enjoy it more!

    I highly recommend this place.

  • Excellent stay at this beautiful apartment. Dave was a perfect host and very communicative. He waited patiently for me to arrive late on Sunday night. The apartment was wonderful, well laid out, great decoration, a place to really feel at home. On top of everything there was a bottle of wine waiting on the kitchen table with a welcome note. Will definitely be back to visit soon. Thanks Dave!

  • Dave was an awesome host. He left us plenty of instruction, offered us several dinner suggestions (all of which were excellent), and even helped us troubleshoot a minor internet issue. The place was beautiful and had everything we need. Will definitely consider returning in the future.

  • Margo and Dave were great hosts! They were very easy to communicate with and were very flexible with our schedule. The loft itself is a great space and in a great location in Williamsburg. It's very easy to walk to restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again.
