Amazing, open design 900 square foot loft in a famed Brooklyn former pasta factory. Bask under soaring 12 foot ceilings and a wall of windows. Incredible rooftop. Perfect proximity to Manhattan, as well as everything Williamsburg has to offer.
Huge, well equipped kitchen is great to cook in, thanks to the ample counter space. Gas range, microwave, and counter seating at the kitchen island
Our comfortable, well-sorted loft will make a perfect backdrop to your New York visit. The huge space is designed around a unique bedroom built between the kitchen and living room; the wall facing the windows can be left open or closed for privacy through a custom built sliding door. We love the open feel so much that we rarely close it.
The bedroom has a queen size bed; inflate the full size Aerobed to sleep a total of 4. A fifth person could sleep quite well on the comfortable couch.
The enormous rooftop is a great feature of the experience. In addition to some of the best views of New York you'll ever see, so many of the great artists, photographers, writers, and musicians who live here congregate there regularly. We've got great friends here and the community is a special one.
If you like to cook, you'll love the kitchen. We have everything you need plus lots of space to work and eat! Try shopping for meats and produce at Marlow and Daughters down the street. However, if it's a night out you're looking for, you're in the right place. So many people come from around New York City right to Williamsburg for the restaurants and bars; the choices for quality food and drink are endless.
The East River Ferry is right across the street and not only is it a ridiculously fast way to get into Manhattan, it can also scoot you right over to other great Brooklyn neighborhoods like DUMBO and Greenpoint. By far the most fun way to get around New York.
Prefer bikes over boats? You can buy a Citibike pass and go everywhere you want to go from the Citibike station right on the corner. Riding down the designated waterfront bike path right from the station is a great way to check out the Manhattan skyline.
Guests are free to enjoy the rooftop, 24/7. Rules about rooftop activity are posted in the building.

We are so excited to have you stay in our home. We know the neighborhood inside and out and are happy to pass along any helpful information about the area after we get you settled in.
Margo and Dave
Please be respectful to our space and to our neighbors. Please use and enjoy our home, try to leave it as you found it.
We really enjoyed our stay. My daughter and I slept in the room and they had a very comfy air bed that my mother slept on. The loft is very spacious and we all felt like we had plenty of privacy and quiet time. A grocery store (Urban Market) is about a few blocks away which was very convenient. Dave had several suggestions for dining in the area and they were all very good. We had a wonderful dinner at Rabbit Hole an excellent restaurant about a 15 minute walk from the loft. Patrizias Italian- Very fun, boisterous and economical. We also enjoyed Diner for breakfast . Most of breakfast we cooked at the loft and then headed to the train for sightseeing in NYC. Thanks again !
We had a very nice experience in Margo & Dave's loft.
We stayed there for a week during the cold wave in New York and the place was actually very warm and cosy.
The neighborhood is very cool and safe, you can find nice restaurants and shops nearby (we recommend Egg, Pies'n'Thighs, and Delaware and Hudson for their amazing brunchs !). A big supermarket is also very close.
Easy and quite quick to go to Manhattan : the subway is 20 minutes away (only one station from Manhattan with the J, M or Z lines), and the east river ferry (which we didn't take because of the cold) is right accross the street.
Dave was here to welcome us and gave us all the information we needed and good advices. He also was very reactive and accomodating when we had a question.
Definitly a great place to stay when you're in NYC, we highly recommend it !
What an amazing place, we absolutely loved being locals in Williamsburg. There are not many places like this left in the world. Everything about the stay was perfect, I want to move to there!
Margo & Dave's place was the perfect place for us to stay in Brooklyn. The location was great and the apartment was super comfortable. Dave was right on time to meet us and made us feel very welcome. We would absolutely stay here again!
Thank you to Dave and Margo!
My boyfriend and I stayed in Dave and Margo's apartment for 5 days in January. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how warm the flat was! It's actually warmer than my own home!
They left really helpful notes and were very accommodating about arrival and departure times - they let us leave our bags in the apartment so that we could spend as much time as possible exploring.
The apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures and is so close to some great restaurants, food shops and the subway into Manhattan is only a 10 minute walk away.
I would definitely go back - perhaps in the summer so that I could really make use of the amazing views from the roof terrace.
Thanks for a great stay!
The hosts greeted me with smiles and information about the bounty of amenities within a 25 minute walking radius (there are a lot!).
- perfectly appointed as expected from the photos
- bountiful water pressure in the shower!
- very warm and cozy surroundings
- welcoming and communicative hosts
- used condom wrapper on the floor next to the bed
- hefty 20 minute walk to the jmz train (not the best in inclination weather)
Margo & Dave are extraordinary host. If you have a question / problem they answered within the next minutes. Perfect experience. The apartment is really big and has a great loft character. The most magic moments, will be experienced on the roof top of the building with a fantastic view over Manhattan. The building is located in Williamsburg, a jewish and very safe neighborhood with a lot of cafes, restaurants, shopping possibilities, etc. Great recommendation. Thank you to Margo & Dave.
Musician and Musician/Web Designer. We love living in this part of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and every time we travel we are always thrilled to be back. Our custom-built loft has been home to us for many years and we can't wait to share it with you. We hope you enjoy it too!
