About this listing
My two bedroom apartment is cosy and a funky home. High ceilings and the peaceful colony really make this an oasis of quiet and space in the bustling South Bombay. Roof access with incredible views add to the charm of this original Bombay building.
I have two rooms and several beds, quite spacy and comfy living room. Wi fi, kitchen... well the basic amenities that make home.
you have access to everything I have access to.... microwave,wi-fi,fridge,washing machine...
The guest bedroom is independent. With your own AC and private ensuite bathroom
Interaction with guests
I interact with my guests as much as they require. As you can see from the photos on my profile I tend to go out with them and show them around.
For a place located almost in the center of the heart of Mumbai its very quiet. This is because its located in the Govt Colony which has the Arabian Sea to its West, the massive Mahalashmi Racecourse touching it to its North creating a green haven in between "Bombay". The location provides peace and quiet yet is not "far" from the happenings of Bombay
Mahalakshmi Station and Mumbai Central Station are both Minimum Cab Fares from my place.
Very close to some of the famous spots of Bombay such as Haji Ali Dargah (walking distance) , Hanging Garden (4.7kms) , Marine Lines ( 5.7 Kms) , Dhakleshwar Temple (1.2kms) , Church Gate,Fort Area and Azad Meydan (7.6kms) , Colaba Causeway-Gateway of India-Taj Hotel (9.7kms) etc.
Please remember to take off your footwear upon entering the house :)
Other than that treat it like you would your own home :)
PS: If anyone from the building or surrounding area asks how you know me, say through common friends and not Airbnb, as Airbnb is frowned upon by some Owner's associations in Mumbai.
Love spending time talking to people and getting to know their stories because everyone of us has an interesting story. This life is nothing without the people we meet and the conversations we have.
"To travel is very useful, it makes the imagination work.... our journey is entirely imaginary, which is it's strength" - Louis-Ferdinand Céline
I love to travel. I have been to Iran, Thailand, Indonesia, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Malaysia, Singapore, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Oman among others. I have lived most my life in Dubai and now live in Mumbai. Love to meet people and exchange stories. I usually backpack alone and while using Airbnb, cause I feel that way you interact with people much more.
I was working in Digital Advertising, now I am using the same skills to do something different. I am part of a collective that works on Indian Satire and Cause marketing among other things. I write, a lot, but not as much as I love to read.
