The true Artist experience of New York City with private eclectic art collection. Clean, fun, artist den, with eat-in kitchen and loft bed in the bedroom. Pre-war very high ceilings, traditional old downtown apartment with shower in the kitchen! Sunny and perfect for one person or two people having a romance. Amazing location in the heart of the trendy East Village with cafe's great restaurants, etc. Non-smoking. No pets. Air condition unit in the bedroom should be left on in hot weather to cool the apartment. large fridge. Wonderful, comfortable friendly living room. Great music system. Private wireless internet. Nice sheets and towels. full kitchen with cooking. 2 blocks from subway. IN the heart of it all. It can be noisy outside as it's on Avenue A, but it is New York City.

I love my apartment. It's my home and I'm looking for clean guests who will appreciate the artistic space that I have created and truly enjoy the east village of New York City. I will answer any questions and provide my personal recommendations of great things to do , places to see and where to eat when in the best city in the world!

Had an amazing experience at Elizabeth's apartment. Great location, just two blocks from the subway, supermarkets... in a beautiful neighborhood. I'd come back! Felt like real New Yorkers living in our own home.

I stayed at Elizabeth's apartment for a whole month and it would not be an exaggeration to say it was the best month of my life. The apartment and location was everything I'd hoped for and more. I was only expecting Elizabeth to hand over the keys on my arrival, I never could have imagined I'd end up with a friend for life. The words to the song are so true - "these streets will make you feel brand new." I only have one complaint about my experience - having to leave!!! I'm already plotting my return. Thank you Elizabeth for making this such a fantastic experience for me. xxx

Let start from the good things: the flat is surely well located, I love the east village. Anyway if we have to judge the flat we have to say it has some defects: the flat really need a renovation , windows socket floor and furniture are quite old (as the entire building), and the flat is too full of owner's stuffs to be really cleaned. We have been here 8 days in 2 persons, but I think it is too much. I would suggest the flat only for shorter periods , alone.

Response from Elizabeth:
Hi! thanks for your feedback. As i state in all of my photo's and descriptions of my apartment...there is only one loft bed. So great for a single or for a couple. You and your brother are both big handsome guys and when I wrote you that, you said you could sleep in the same bed. That said, when you arrived you needed more space, so I went out of my way to make it more comfortable for you. I NEVER let anyone sleep in my living room, but out of the goodness of my heart I gave your brother the big blow up mattress so you could have more space. For that alone, you should've been charged more. But I wouldn't do that. Everything that other people write is because they saw and read all of my explanations of my apartment. And they love it and I have never had anyone complain about the furniture. It is an artists apartment in a great neighborhood. All of my furniture is antique from a very well known and expensive place called ABC Carpet. Not made for two separate people to sleep in. I would've told you to get a place with two bedrooms to make yourselves more comfortable because you were both here to work. I have a brand new bathroom and kitchen. This is a pre-war building and has the feel and vibe of old NYC. It is not a renovated apartment that has no soul. You guys are great, I hope you were successful in your business here, I would highly recommend you stay at a boutique hotel next time you come to New York. That might be more suited to your needs. Ciao! xo

Stayed here from June through August with my boyfriend- very unique little apartment with a lot of character! Absolutely loved my time in this space. Great neighborhood (East Village/Alphabet City), clean space, convenient location. Overall the apartment fulfilled all of our needs and we had no problems or complaints! Elizabeth was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay at this quirky little place and it's the perfect location for exploring all of the amazing East Village restaurants, shops, bars, etc.

The apartment was located in such a fantastic area, coffee underneath, eateries surrounding & everything you needed within walking distance. The apartment it self was homely, secure & fully equipt including a beautiful, clean bathroom & complete kitchen. Elizabeth organized a seamless check-in & was a fantastic host every step of the way. I definitely recommend staying here when in NY..

My mum and I stayed in Elizabeth's apartment for one week and absolutely loved it. The apartment is very well situated with a lot of cafes and restaurants, as well as shops just around the corner. The apartment in it self is quite small but very charming and loveable. My mum and I wanted a true New York experience and we got it!
