Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We absolutely loved our stay at ROJO!!!!! Marcelo met us at the apartment and he was great at answering every question we had. The location is great. It is near the Metro and also within walking distance of many important sites like the Cementerio de Recoleta. Highly recommend this apartment.

  • This studio apartment is very well equipped, well run and well located. It was a pleasure staying there and Ralf and his team run a tight ship! Highly recommended. P.S. The balcony was a real pleasure

  • We stayed in the ROJO apt. in Jan 2014 and it was quiet, clean, well decorated, and comfortable, just as the pictures portrayed. Ralf and his team are very professional and available not only as property managers, but for tourism assistance as well. Marcello gave us a very thorough introduction on how everything in the apt. worked and also reviewed basic tourist info such as personal safety tips, counterfeit currency, etc.

The cord on the shade broke when we were there and Marcello repaired it immediately. The team is very well organized and extremely professional. All seem to have so much experience in the tourism industry. We loved it and would definitely stay in any of their apartments again!

  • Great property, well located and friendly staff! BA4U's entire team is extremely helpful. Absolutely no complaints.

  • Beautiful apartment with excellent amenities. Very clean, sufficient closet/storage space, bathroom not cramped. The décor is fun, clean with a touch of whimsy. This apartment does not face the street, so the balcony is generally peaceful. The doorwall has a double set of roller blinds, so you can keep the room quite dark even in daytime. Upstairs there's a small but mostly useable gym with a dry sauna; the rooftop deck and pool with nice views are definitely a plus. My only complaint was the weak wi-fi. The router seems to be installed elsewhere on the same floor of the building, so phones/tablets registered only a bar or so of connectivity, and the speed was quite low. This made using (website hidden) Maps, etc., to plan daily activities somewhat frustrating.

  • A fabulous location on Av Santa Fe - close enough to walk to the main Recoleta sites but far enough to not feel too touristy. Also, there are a few metro stops located close by and we were never short of restaurant/cafe options nearby. Upon arrival, after 10pm, we were given a comprehensive personal security briefing and all the Buenos Aires do's and don'ts by Marcelo. He delivered in a very engaging and humourous way such that we wished we had filmed it! The apartment itself is located on the 13th floor and therefore offered great views across the city. It was extremely comfortable (despite the heat wave outside), very well-equipped and decorated tastefully to a high standard. The building has a rooftop pool and also a gym which helped us cool down when it got too much on the streets. All in all, we had a great time and even booked again with Ralf (in a different apartment on the return leg of our journey after a trip to Patagonia. He and his team made our stay very comfortable and everything was dealt with seamlessly. Thank you BA4U!

  • Pros: we really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We liked the neighborhood. It is close to the subway and there are some supermarkets nearby. Ralf's team was really nice to us. The apartment was exactly the same we had seen in the pictures. Well furnished and clean.
Cons: unfortunately, on our last day, the hole block were out of power for the afternoon and we had to use the stairs twice, what were really awful because we were in a apartment on the 13th floor. It is important to say that we received the visit of one member of Ralf's team that afternoon to see if we were ok or needed something.
Conclusion: we strongly recommend Ralf's apartment if you want to stay in Buenos Aires.

  • No problems at all. Very nice apartment, as described. Would rent a place from Ralf in the future. This apartment is in a very nice neighborhood and is close to subways, buses and many great restaurants

  • We had a fantastic stay at the rojo apartment. Check in was flexible, very straight forward, and we were well informed of all amenities and things to do in Buenos Aires. The apartment is in a prime location on ave Santa fe, one block from the subway station and directly opposite a large supermarket. The apartment was as advertised, furnished to a high standard, with a well equipped kitchen (including tea, coffee, and fruit on our arrival). We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for another 2 nights at short notice. Communication with Ralf was always quick and easy, we would highly recommend staying here!

  • Ralf and his team are fantastic and my fiance and I could not have been happier with our stay. Do not look any further. This is your place.

Our flight from Bariloche to Buenos Aires was delayed by two hours and we ended up showing up at the Rojo Studio after 8pm. I had no way of reaching out to them since I was stuck at the airport without a phone or Internet access. When we arrived at the Studio, Marcelo welcomed us with open arms and did not seem the least bit bothered by our delay. Not only was he a gracious host, but he spent an hour with us explaining all of the apartment building amenities and how to stay safe in the city. His introduction was greatly appreciated.

The studio was in excellent condition. Its a beautiful space that is conveniently located across the street from a grocery store and just steps away from the bus and metro stops. It is also situated right between the two most coveted neighborhoods -- Palermo and Recoleta. Its a bit of a ways from San Telmo/La Boca, but honestly, its better not to be close to those areas because there is less to see and its not as safe.

We stopped by the office (based in the same building) every morning with a few questions and the staff was eager to help us find our way. Not only that, but Ralf shared restaurant recommendations which were truly excellent. Skip the TripAdvisor recommendations and go with Ralf's suggestions. You won't be disappointed.

It was clear to us from the beginning we had found the perfect spot for our holiday. Should we travel back to the region, we will definitely stay with BA4U apartments.

Although a German national, I have actually resided outside of my native country for almost half my life. My first ventured abroad to Greece where I worked in guest relations at a premier hotel in Athens. From there I moved to Sydney, Australia where he held an post as personal assistant to a major politician within the Australian Parliament. Soon, with a desire to be more independent, I followed my instincts and in Sydney I opened, managed and ultimately sold, two very successful natural food and juice bars. It was then, in 2007, When I decided to return to a place which I had visited some years before---BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA---and now, it is the place I call home!
