The location was great and so was the host. The subway was a bit noisy at first but after a couple of hours I got used to it (close the window if you get annoyed). The noise is a small price to pay for having the station nearby. It took less than 15 minutes for me to get to Manhattan. Overall I had a great experience.

The apartment is in great condition, it is spacious and has bright. I spent almost one month in Azu and I could have hoped for in terms of comfort and at the welcome I have done. I really loved spending my stay there. In addition to that the roof is fine, and the view is beautiful. In transport is excellent. If it again I will return without hesitation.

I have one word to describe my 3-weeks stay with Azu: AMAZING She is a very attentive & kind host, I felt at home from the day I arrived until the last day of my stay. Azu is very respectful with my privacy and never went into the room without my permission. She left me free to stay at the living room, use the kitchen and the amazing rooftop of the building. Azu is an amazing singer, knows everything about music and a really great cook too. So if you like good music and food, this is the place for you! She gave me lots of tips and hints how to get around the city and showed me a lot of places to eat and hang out. The apartment is large, clean, very well located (only 1 block from the Subway), the neighborhood is safe and you can walk in the streets without caring about of security. The room that i stayed is so cozy and sheets of the bed were smelled and soft, so good to sleep, even in a city that isn't made for sleep to much! See you very soon Azu & Thank you so much for everything!

I stay with Azu 3 weeks and she is really kind and friendly! She cook to me a couple of times for lunch and dinner, help me with my luggage, let me use anything of the kitchen and gave me hangers. She didn't gave me the room that is in the pictures. The room that I had was big, have AC, the door of the bedroom has no lock, enough space to keep my things and a big window in which you can see the train that is just one block away. But the noise of the train is really disturbing and annoying specially at night, I have a trouble to sleep. There where days that she had friends to stay at her house in the couch and in the other half room and was a little bit uncomfortable, there were friendly but instead of sharing the bathroom only with her we have to share the bathroom with 2 more people, 4 in total. And for 1 week and a half more or less, one friend of her never move. In general the apartment is ok, the bathroom is spacious but it had a little of mold, the neighborhood is full of dominican people and have a supermarket just in front.

My 3-weeks stay with Azu has been a very pleasant one. She welcomed me into her house and I felt right at home. The room she gave me was different from the one listed, but it had air conditioning where the other did not. It was clean, the sheets of the bed were soft and smelled of fresh flowers. During my stay she respected my privacy and never went into the room. But, gladly, we met each other often in the spacious living room and had nice talks about our different backgrounds and about music. One night she called me to see if I was OK and invited me to have a few drinks at the bar where she was working. We had a great time there. At night, noise from the streets, the nearby subway and the air conditioning can be a bit loud. But this is New York and if you can't get used to the noise you're not made for the city anyway ;) It took me just one or two nights to get used to it. Azu helped me whenever she could, ordering food and calling a taxi. She was very sweet and I hope we can stay in touch.

I had a great time with Azu. Her apartment is large and very nice, bright room and great roof! Azu is very welcoming, the life is very easy with her. I really felt at home! She gives good advice, prepares good breakfasts. She shares what she likes very easily and you can discover her very creative universe (music, painting...). I liked a lot talking to her of NY, Brazil or life in general...! It's a very good meeting which returns the very beautiful journey and which enriches humanly! Thank you for everything!

I enjoyed my time with Azu tremendously ! She has a beautiful spacious Loft in the middle of East Williamsburg. She gave me lots of tips and hints how to get around the city while I was staying at her place during my initial 3 weeks in NYC, having just moved from Seattle. The commute into lower Manhattan was very convenient and took only half an hour which was great, too.
