The spectacular views are earned with a steady climb up the winding road. It's a 15-20-minute drive from town to the house. The final stretch of road climbs into the mountains, so decent ground clearance or all-wheel drive helps. There's no EV charging station on site — electric-vehicle guests should charge in town before the climb.
Bring hiking shoes — this is a base camp built around waterfalls and slow afternoons.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire home — nothing is locked off or shared with the host. Check- in is self-service via keypad, no need to coordinate a meeting time after a long drive.
The front door has two small steps up to the entryway — worth knowing for mobility considerations or heavy luggage. Every room, the arcade, and the outdoor deck are yours to use freely, day or
night.
PARKING

BEARS
There may be wildlife on the property, and there are black bears in this area of North Carolina so we ask that you don’t leave any food outside. We do share some tips in case you encounter black bears
PET POLICY/PET FEE
1. A $100 non-refundable “Pet Fee'' will be applied per reservation that includes up to 2 dogs. (This fee does not cover damage to the property or grounds resulting from a dog, including but not limited to: chewing, scratching, excessive cleaning, digging and unreported house training accidents.)
2. 2 dog limit, maximum weight per dog is 40 pounds.
3. Clean up after your dog, both in public areas and in the yard of the property.
4. Do not allow your dog to bark excessively or to roam onto neighboring properties.
5. If your dog has separation issues and/or is not accustomed to being left alone in unfamiliar places, please do not leave your dog unattended for long periods of time. A crate is ideal for those situations in which you must leave. You are responsible for any damages your pet causes.
