** Cleaning Protocols ***
As the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards. We pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.

The space
With a spacious floorplan and modern amenities, Shelter 1 is perfectly suited for couples, friends, or families who crave the tranquility of the desert. It’s set on 2.5 acres of land, so you’ll enjoy that “away from it all feeling,” but the restaurants and shops of Joshua Tree Village are just minutes away by car.

“Absolutely incredible listing! Views from every window, outdoor shower, fire pit, cowboy tub, and hot tub. The house was well stocked with essentials and even some extras you wouldn’t typically see in Airbnb’s. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway destination.” -Recent Review

-BEDS & BATHS-
The home can comfortably sleep up to four guests in two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and funky furnishings. Both bedrooms have sliding doors that lead to the back patio.

Shelter 1 also has two bathrooms. The master bathroom has dual sinks with wood accents and chrome features, plus a glass-enclosed walk-in rainfall shower and plenty of hotel-quality towels. Step through the door to enter the lovely private courtyard with an outdoor shower. The second bathroom, located across the hall from the second bedroom, includes a luxurious deep-soaking bathtub.

Need to do some laundry? There’s a washer and dryer available for your use.

-KITCHEN & DINING-
Natural elements meet modern technology in the kitchen, which features sleek stainless steel appliances and custom wood cabinetry. Appliances include a gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, and both a drip coffee maker and a French press are ready for your morning java ritual. The cabinets are stocked with dishes, cookware, and a blender.

When it’s time to eat, dine in style at the table for four - or opt for a meal outside on the patio.

-LIVING SPACE-
The kitchen opens up to a bright, airy living room with a cozy sofa and chairs. After an invigorating hike (or a hearty meal at one of Joshua Tree’s delicious restaurants), you’ll want to kick back and relax in air conditioned comfort. Flip on the TV (DirecTV channels included), or just admire the spectacular views through the huge windows as your favorite tunes play through the Bose speakers.

-OUTDOOR SPACE-
Steps from the living room is your private patio, surrounded by gorgeous Joshua trees, which is an ideal place to relax. It’s up to you whether you’d prefer to soak up the rays in a lounge chair or sip a glass of California wine.

When the sun goes down, nothing beats sitting around the stone fire pit with a view of the mountains in the distance. End the day with a soak in the Jacuzzi hot tub (or a refreshing dip in the cowboy tub!) overlooking the mountains in the sunset.

When you’re in the mood for dinner with a view, just fire up the propane BBQ and pull up a chair at the outdoor dining table, which seats six.

-ESSENTIALS-
Parking is available for two vehicles: one in the carport and one in the driveway. There’s an electric vehicle charger in the carport.

Shelter 1 also includes WiFi, heating, and air conditioning.

Only one mile from the western entrance to Joshua Tree National Park sits Shelter Joshua Tree, two clean-lined and simple modern homes nestled lightly on 10 acres of rugged land. Thoughtfully situated on 2 1/2-acre parcels of desert to maximize privacy and placed among twisted Joshua trees and other native plant life, each home has sweeping views of immense boulders and nearby mountains. Developed collaboratively, and distinguished individually, Shelter Joshua Tree was created in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) by a small group of like-minded desert lovers — who also happen to be modern architectural enthusiasts. They believe passionately that a place so compelling requires equally compelling accommodations. The homes include two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a generous open kitchen / dining / living room. Oversized windows provide expansive desert views. Multiple patios, comfortable modern furniture and fire pits encourage deep conversations — and contemplations. Prepare meals in gourmet kitchens or grill outdoors among the stars. Hot tubs, outdoor showers, and star gazing lounges are just a few of the amenities to enhance the desert experience. Well-screened and spaced from one another for maximum privacy, these homes are perfectly suited for larger groups of guests desiring to be in the same location. Renting both homes provides groups with four beds, and thus the ability to accommodate up to 8 people. • Shelter: One - https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16871631 • Shelter: Two - https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16871562 • Shelter: Joshua Tree - https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/16780142 www,ShelterJoshuaTree, com (Hidden by Airbnb) : @shelterjoshuatree
