Sea Spray Cottage #1 is one of five 1950's cottages located on the beach road (west side) in Nags Head. Cottage #1 has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6. The living room opens to a large kitchen. There is a bedroom off of the kitchen. The other 2 bedrooms are adjacent to the living area, they are separated by the bathroom. There is a small fenced in yard, easy out for the pups (pickup right away please), back porch suited up with a table for dining, and an outdoor shower in outer banks tradition.

The space
We LOVE dogs at Sea Spray, they are always welcome. We do have a $125 pet fee; limited to 2 pups total.

WE DO NOT PROVIDE SHEETS OR TOWELS. You will have to bring your own or rent from a local rental company or from our assistant manager, Billy.

Not many historic small-spaced cottages are left on the outer banks that don't require folks to vacation with a crowd. Although Cottage #1 has 3 bedrooms, many families rent the space as it is the perfect size to allow folks to vacation with just immediate family. Many couples also love the cottage as none of our cottages are huge.

The front porch is an excellent spot to relax and watch the world go by while sipping the beverage of your choice and catching up on your reading.

Guest access
The washer and dryer are in the barn to share and the grill is in the court yard area, also to share.

Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: essential are not provided. Unlike most AirBnb's this is a beach cottage, which does not really perfictly fit with a typical AirBnB space. Basically, its bring your own . . . towels, sheets, paper goods, etc. We do try to start you out with a roll of TP and paper towels and if you are not the first rental of the year, there will probably be coffee filters and salt and peper, but you cannot count on it. Just don't want you to have any suprises.

Sea Spray Cottages were built in 1950. There are 5 cottage in total, each cottage is similar to the others, but unique in its own way.

This is the 15th season that my wife and I have been operating the SEA SPRAY COTTAGES OBX for vacations rentals. We run a mom and pop operation, an experience from a day gone-bye but thoroughly enjoyed by our guests.

My wife and I own and operate the Sea Spray Cottages at milepost 11.7 on the beach road in Nags Head since 2009. We have a long rental history of many satisfied and repeat guests. The Sea Spray Cottages (5 total) are located on the west side of the beach road in Nags Head. About 2/10th of a mile south of the Nags Head Pier.
