Interaction with Guests
I usually offer my guest to have breakfast with me in morning, so they can ask questions of where to go and to get there. If we feel like it I often also make a dinner with/ for my guests. Or invite them for a walk or bicykle ride in Copenhagen.
The best public transport you could ask for. The metro st is 1 1/2 minute away, busstop and canalboat the same.
Please treat our home like it was your home. Be comfortable enjoy the space, but be careful with foods (please use plates) and drinks around the house.
Weird beep noise ? It is the freezers alarm. A knee into the freezers door and the annoying sound will stop, pronto.
We invite you to take the shoes of inside. It is more hygienic, and the people living downstairs doesn't have to follow every step and move you make.
Don't throw anything besides what belongs in the toilet, there. Yes you can throw toilet paper in the toilet but not tissues, toothpicks, cotton sticks ect.
Leave the house in the order it was when you came - otherwise you might have to pay cleaning fee.
Katrine was very quick to respond to our booking and we could arrive within the hour. We had very pleasant stay at her apartment, and she took the time to show us the in-spots of the neighborhood. The shower needed some getting used to, but the water was nice and warm.
We stayed three nights at Katrine's place, and had a great experience. It is a place we definitely would go back to. Highly recommended! The location is perfect, in the heart of Copenhagen near the canal, restaurants, grocery store, subway station, bus station and Christiana area. The room is large and light, the bed was perfect, and wifi was included. Katrine is a great, friendly host, who does everything to make you feel comfortable. She made and joined with breakfast every morning, and was very helpful in explaining the surroundings, taking us to a tour to Christiana area, helping with parking etc. Thanks a lot Katrine.
I had a wonderful stay at Katrine's flat. It proved to be the perfect location for me. I had looked at not less than 5 different areas of Copenhagen as possible locations and ended up choosing this one largely for its very convenient access to the metro. That and the appeal of Katrine's profile. She was a remarkable host. I almost hate to tell you the attention she lavished on me for fear that it will create unrealistic expectations for others. Suffice to say, I was given just perfect recommendations on what to see and do, a lovely morning breakfast where we scoped out the day, a personal and knowledgeable guided tour of an art exhibit at the National Gallery, a walk through Christiana, introductions to her interesting and warm friends and even dinners and more. Best of all, I feel I have a new friend in Copenhagen. I have lots of family there but I needed a bit of private time and I am pretty sure that the next time I am in Copenhagen, I'll plan another stay with Katrine!
very nice accomodation in the most beautiful aea of copenhagen and welcoming atmosphere!
Katrine is an extremely welcoming and generous host. It was a pleasure to stay with her and spend time chatting. In amongst the conversations we had she shared invaluable tips on where to go in Copenhagen, advice on hiring a bike (a must for exploring), and lovely places to eat.
The room was fabulous - exactly as described. A cosy, comfy base from which to explore the city. It's also easy to find and a very quick (30 mins max inc. buying a ticket!) journey from the airport.
Stop looking at other places and stay here!
I had a wonderful stay! The location is amazing, in the very heart of Copenhagen, close to a major metro stop. The room is very nice, as yu can see on the photos, extremely large and tastefully decorated. But Siggi and Katrina, the hosts, are the real highlight: they are warm people happy to share their passions, and I am so glad I had the privilege to share a dinner with them. Thanks again for everything!
I had a fantastic time with Katrine & Siggi! The room is even bigger than it looks on the picture and the bed was just so comfy (especially if you've got back problems like I do). I was there on business and wasn't able to spent a lot of time with K&S, but we've had a lovely dinner and long chat. Their flat is perfectly situated and you literally walk 30 secs to the metro. 5 star and I can just recommend their flat! Hope to see you again guys! Knus, Anke

Art fan, that loves to meet people. I enjoy hosting otherwise I would never do it. I offer my guests a differrent way of travelling, I have been a host for many years. I know allot about Copenhagen since I hve been living here for over twenty years.
I couldn't live without books, music, art, nature, friends and travelling. I like to cook and have friends over for dinner.
