Big room in the most popuplar area in Copenhagen next to metro (12 min to the airport) to the Canals and Christiania. Experienced and friendly host.
Best location in town, next to channels, marina, and good (and worlds best) restaurants. Metro line direct from Copenhagen airport 2 min , metro line line direct from Copenhagen airport(15 min) and one stop from Kgs Nytorv, Nyhavn and Strøget. Homebaked bread / coffee /tea / juice in the morning after your wish. Your host is experienced guide and host, we speak English, Icelandic, Danish a little French and German. If you would like it we can can help you find what you looking for, and maybe even arrange a guided tour or a outing for a extra charge.
The free city bikes stand is less than 1/2 minute from the door. We highly recommend to see Copenhagen by bike.
The apartment have 4 rooms: 1 bedroom and two living rooms en suite that can be closed of to being to separate rooms: The Guest room and the dining room: Good for a couple or a single. In the area you find some of Copenhagens best tourist sites. "Vor Frelsers Kirke" 17¨'th century with a spiral tower where you can climb the stairs for an amazing view over the city. The tower is mentioned in Jules Vernes novel: The travel to the inner of the world. The channel tour boat has a stop two minutes away (it is even very popular with the local people to once in a while to a the sea view of Copenhagen) , The "Free City; Christiania, that started as a Social experiment 35 years ago, and are still existing, with self build houses, marked, live concerts, and lot's of different food experiences: From cheap veggie to "Spiseloppen" where they serve deer and traditional Nordic/French with value for money.
Shops is two minutes walking distance; second hand shops, food stores, pharmacy, dry cleaner, hairdressers, fun little local bars, organic shops, bakeries, with the best "danish" you can get in town.
The apartment, is simply decorated by a local artists, in a mixture of Art, classic Danish antiques, and modern functional furniture.
Free fast wifi, kitchen, toilet, hall and dining room. I welcome my guests to feel "at home". Happy guests = happy host :)
Interaction with Guests
I usually offer my guest to have breakfast with me in morning, so they can ask questions of where to go and to get there. If we feel like it I often also make a dinner with/ for my guests. Or invite them for a walk or bicykle ride in Copenhagen.
The best public transport you could ask for. The metro st is 1 1/2 minute away, busstop and canalboat the same.
Please treat our home like it was your home. Be comfortable enjoy the space, but be careful with foods (please use plates) and drinks around the house.
Weird beep noise ? It is the freezers alarm. A knee into the freezers door and the annoying sound will stop, pronto.
We invite you to take the shoes of inside. It is more hygienic, and the people living downstairs doesn't have to follow every step and move you make.
Don't throw anything besides what belongs in the toilet, there. Yes you can throw toilet paper in the toilet but not tissues, toothpicks, cotton sticks ect.
Leave the house in the order it was when you came - otherwise you might have to pay cleaning fee.
