About this listing
Welcome to my elegant nordic style apartment in the heart of Copenhagen. We are close to the vibrant Copenhagen city centre, so you will truely feel like a Copenhagener!
This is a great spot to stay if you want to explore Copenhagen. I am located between two parts of the city, which are called "Nørreport" and "Østerport". The neighborhood is nice and quiet, which makes it a children- and family friendly area.
The apartment is a fairly big 3-room apartment, with one bedroom and two living rooms ensuite. They are separated by a french door. There is a big 8-10 people seat dining table made of raw oak planks with elegant lighting above. You will also find a comfy chaiselong couch and a designer armchair were you can watch tv or films on the flat screen tv. In addition, you can use the wireless Sonos soundsystem if you have the app on your smart phone. There are speaker in the living room and in the kitchen.
You will be sleeping in a new double bed. I can accommodate up to three guests if the third person doesn't mind to sleep on couch in the living room. Linen and towels are of course included in the price.
I'm non-smoker, so it is a non-smoking apartment. It is possible to do this outside where there is a nice garden, which can be used also.
It is possible to use the kitchen during your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with: coffee machine, cooker, Kitchen Aid mixer, toaster, kettle, washing machine, kitchen knives and pots'n pans.
You are allowed to use everything in the apartment. This also includes spices, fresh herbs and the fresh chilis I grow.
In the basement I have a washer and a dryer, which I share with the other apartment owners in the stairway. The washer and dryer will be available during your stay. I have recently set up a basement gym with a squat rack, a bench and 200 kg of weights. If you're the sporty type, you're also most welcome to use this amenity.
There is free wifi in the apartment and I can show you where to rent bikes.
Interaction with Guests
I'm 25 and studying Medicine at the Copenhagen University and I absolutely love to live in Copenhagen. I can help you with all sorts of information about the city, this includes great museums, cool places to hang out or where to find the best beach.
I usually write to my guests during their stay, to check that everything is perfect. I will only contact you if you want to be contacted or if you have questions about the flat, neighborhood, or Copenhagen. But I'm very open and friendly so I will do everything to let you feel at home.
My neighborhood is great because it is close to everything yet very quiet and safe place. You have lots of supermarkets and a lot of shopping opportunities at the nearby Østerbrogade. The Copenhagen equivalent to NY Central Park called Fælledparken is very close. Here you find the National Soccer Stadion and big green lawns where you can bring your picnic on hot summer days. It is also a great place to jog or do other exercise.
A bus stop very close nearby can take you into the city center in 10 minutes. You can also borrow bikes either from me or from nearby bike rental shops. It is easy to reach my flat by car and you have free parking right in front of the house. If you have plenty of time, everything is in walking distance and this will be a great chance for you to see the nearby sights.
The centre of Copenhagen is close by (app. 3 km), which can be reached by bus (Bus 42/43 from "Nørreport Station") or bike. The apartment is also reasonably close to train stations.
Other Things to Note
I live in a very nice building and I have a very good relationship with my neighbors. You will experience that when you arrive and if you meet them. Therefore don't be shy to talk to them or sit in the garden while they are there. They know I'm renting my place out.
I want you to take care of my apartment, as if it was your own. If something breaks or you spill something during your stay, then just tell me, so we can sort it out.
You're not allowed to bring a lot of people home, and start a party without my knowing. I will also appreciate that you keep down the noise after 23 pm, especially during week days.
Check in are very flexible and ususally depends on when you arrive at the airport or train station etc. I would like you to check out around 10 am. If you need to have you luggage stored, you're are welcome to do that in the apartment.
This said, there's almost nothing you're not allowed to!
