Clean, renovated guest suite in the Lafayette Square neighborhood — 1,000+ sq ft of private space, fully separate from the main residence. The unit includes:

A spacious primary bedroom with a king bed

A TV room with a comfy couch, a large-screen TV, and Netflix-style streaming apps

A 4 season room with couch seating

A nice walk-in shower (no bathtub in this unit)

Independent heating and air conditioning controls, separate from the main house

Please note: like a hotel room, this suite does not have a kitchen (no stove or sink). It does include a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, and mini-fridge.

This space is best suited for a single guest or a couple — up to two guests total, sharing one bedroom and one bathroom.

Guest access
You’ll have your own private street entrance, allowing you to come and go as you please.

No keys or host meetup are needed. The suite is accessed through a secure keyless keypad entry system, and each guest receives a unique access code that is deactivated after every stay.

Other things to note
* Quiet-ish hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We simply ask that guests be mindful of noise during those hours.

* Late-night Netflix binge-watching in the TV room is always welcome, 24/7.

* Need a dry cleaner? There are actually two located a block west on Park Ave.

* Camera/surveillance disclosure: There are no cameras or recording devices inside your Airbnb. There may be exterior cameras on Dolman St., but these are not owned or operated by us, and we do not have access to any footage they may capture.

The house is located in Lafayette Square, 3 blocks from one of St. Louis' most beautiful parks -- Lafayette Park. It's in walking distance of popular dining, drink and dessert places. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and very close to Downtown St. Louis. You will be located across the street from Square One Brewery and near other popular places such as SqWires Restaurant, Park Ave Coffee, Bailey's Chocolate Bar, Eleven-Eleven Bistro, Polite Society, Laredo Mexican, Planter's House and Aaron's favorite Clementine's Naughty & Nice "Boozy" Ice Cream. They have non-alcoholic flavors for the kids, too. :-) Half of the places mentioned have a killer Sunday brunch.

For pizza, we recommend PW Pizza, a 3 minute drive or 11 minute walk. Or, Imo's "St. Louis" Style Pizza delivers right to your door.

There's also J. Arthurs Salon/Spa and Southtown Yoga a couple of blocks away. Walgreen's and the grocery store are walkable and just across Lafayette Ave.

I'm a professor, consultant, mother and lover of travel. I have enjoyed using Airbnb for business and personal travel across the globe, and I am excited to be able to be a host. My partner, Aaron, and I enjoy raising our family in the city and would be happy to share information about navigating the city and enjoying the sites and events. We are in a great location to get to downtown St. Louis as well as the suburbs on the Missouri and Illinois sides. My favorite things about St. Louis are the urban parks! Tower Grove Park is first on my list; Forest Park is an old standard, and of course, Lafayette Park two blocks down is beautiful.
