Our management team believes that “Good things come in small packages, simplicity is the real philosophy of sophistication”. At the same time, with our “Best friend attitude”, we aim at treating every guest as our best friend and make their stay a memorable one.
While most hotel rooms in hotel do not come with heating, hotel pandora has dedicated to make all room and public area warmly covered with heating, to ensure each of our honored guest with high sleeping quality.
If I'm going back to Hongkong, I'll definitely stay in this hostel again. The location is very convenient, easy access to all sort of transpo, nighht market and lots of food choices just behind. The room and bath has new and modern interior, quite small and no windows but we don't mind as it is really clean, no odor and complete necessities. The staff are helpful and provide left luggage.
The only down side I could remember are:
- Requested room cleaning is not the best. shampoos/coffee/water were not replenished (though i don't know if this is really the arrangement). And bed fixing is not the finest (or maybe I am just OC)
- Dodgy Entrance, at first I am not sure if I was on the right building because I have to pass a lot of karaoke floors. And I have to ask around where it is exactly as the signage is not clear.
Overall, totally worth it and highly recommended for budget travellers!
Once you get over the shabby and seemingly dodgy first floor, which is shared with karaoke clubs in the lower floors, you'd be rewarded with a cozy yet clean, modern and new room with free wifi. The area is very busy at all times of day so you won't feel unsafe.
The shower is separate, which is a luxury in many HK bathrooms. Twin beds would be a bit tight for very large/tall person but it was fine for me. The room is cleaned every day.
Take the airport train to Kowloon station and the complimentary bus (K1 line) to Austin Rd (1st stop). Walk north 2 blocks on Nathan Rd and the hotel should be on the north west side from Jordan Rd. Look out for a sign with the street number 321 Nathan Road on a wall at a building with a shop selling handbags and a jewelry store next to it. (website hidden) Map the exact location - it is very accurate and will be a big help if you have the printed map.
The MTR (subway) is 1.5 blocks, lots of restaurants and shops, laundry on the street behind, Wellcome supermarket around the corner, and the Temple Street night market 2 blocks away.
Note that in HK people smoke in elevators, at least in this one, so beware for those with sensitivities. But smoking is common in the city.
Check in is on the 9/F!
Overall a pleasant stay, very convenient location in Kowloon. Close to TST and 3mins from Jordan MTR.
Room is very cosy, pretty much a double bed and bathroom only. barely enough room for luggage on walkway. Single traveller, It was clean and enough room.
The lifts, ground walkway and building behind is being renovated, very noisey during day. Ok if you plan to be out and about.
Nice place for a short stay in Hong Kong. See my previous review on this property. Overall a great place for a short stay in Hong Kong.
Location is good, but lift is not so convenient as need someone to operate it.
On the first day, my friend and i had some trouble finding for the place and when we found it..we would quite shock by the lobby area cause its under renovation but once we got up to the hotel lobby at 9/F it was really nice and the staff were really friendly... the room was clean and neat and the room service staff was really friendly and help us whenver we needed help or something
And the Location of the hotel was really good..there was the night market, supermarket and MTR nearby all within walking distance loads of food to eat.. so getting around hk wouldnt be a problem..
i would definitely recommend friends to stay and would love to stay here again on my next visit(:
The phone number is wrong and the address wasn't provided on airbnb, but this is a NEW place and a treasure of a find in Hong Kong. The room was VERY comfortable and quality of bedding and pillows GREAT compared to other guesthouses/hostels that I've stayed at in Hong Kong.
Once we finally found the place, we were impressed...the location is great, staff very friendly, and we had a good night's sleep. It was great to be right in the city and so close to an MTR station, night market, and a 10-15 minute walk to TST.
For Hong Kong, the price to stay here is SO worth it! I'll definitely be back!
We stayed for a week there and generally it was a pleasant experience.
The check-in arrangement was a bit confusing probably because we are their first guests ever, but their staff are all very helpful and friendly. It worth the money we paid as the room is clean and neat and location is perfect for getting around the city. Definitely one of the most reasonably priced places we (email hidden). We will go back at our next visit and we are quite sure it will only get better once it's started to run smoothly.
