Come stay among moss covered spruce woods in our village of tiny homes and misfit animals.

Due to restrictions we are only able to have one party per week so we encourage longer stays. However we understand restraints and allow 2 nights during the winter months.

Bike three miles to picnic by the ocean, swim or to hike up the western mountains.

Take a short drive to Southwest fresh seafood and entertainment. Even enjoy avant-garde theater in a rustic barn by the sea.

The space
This home is built with bent maple poles in the style of an Iroquois Longhouse. There are large windows that let in the morning sun, space for storage, a wood stove perfect for winter stays and a cozy twin sized bed.

Our property is located on a dead end road, please make sure to drive all the way to the end and park. We also have a very strict 10 mph speed limit on our road. It is important for our future that guests do not go over that limit. Thank you in advance.

Guest access
Wander our seven-acre forest on wood chip trails past fairy houses and art installations. Pick herbs and vegetables from the garden and pet the goats, fowl and mini horse at our misfit farm.

Enjoy songbirds or a good reading in the privacy of the outhouse. Cook yourself a delicious meal on the woodstove using fresh eggs from our farm.

Other things to note
We suggest bringing a headlamp for night walks around the property or to the outhouse, but if you forget yours don't worry... we probably have an extra!

We welcome dogs! Please keep in mind that we have dogs as well. We ask that your dogs be friendly with other dogs if you want to allow them to run loose, ours do. If they don't like other dogs, that's ok! Please just notify us ahead of time and keep your dog on a leash while outside. Please make sure to clean up after your pet.

Please keep in mind, this stay is not for everyone. It is close to many things, but it is in itself 'off the grid'. The winter months can be difficult. The home is heated only by wood, and if the stove goes out the home will be cold until the space has had time to heat back up. We are here to help with the stove if needed, but cannot maintain it throughout the visit.

Our tiny homes are sheltered in a quite
mossy woodland. Just a mile walk from our land is a lake with wonderful swimming and fishing and the trailhead up the western mountains of Acadia. Take a two and a half mile bike ride in the opposite direction and you'll find yourself at a beautiful picnic spot by the ocean, the perfect place to enjoy a lobster bake as you watch the sun set.
