The space
Step into the Parallel Universe room, where minimalism intertwines with funky tropical vibes. This extraordinary space features original artworks and an installation by renowned German contemporary artist Ole Ukena, immersing you in a world of artistic expression.
As you enter, prepare to be mesmerized by the mirror-adorned walls, offering a glimpse into a parallel universe. Take a seat at the teak wood desk, overlooking the lush jungle, where occasional falling coconuts from the neighboring land add to the magical ambiance. The room boasts a clean and white aesthetic, infused with funky and inspiring touches.
The bathroom with custom cement tiles ensures your comfort during your stay. Wander through the maze-like tiles, find inspiration at the jungle-view working desk adorned with color pencils, and explore a curated collection of creativity-related books. And to add a musical twist, a ukulele awaits, inviting you to strum its playful melodies.

Guest access
During your stay, you'll have access to your private room, ensuring utmost privacy. Additionally, we have a spacious studio area where we occasionally host communal dinners. If you need a dedicated workspace, feel free to use the communal desk.
If you require access to the larger art studio and more than a communal desk, please let us know in advance as we often have artists working and preparing exhibitions there. Currently, our focus is on embroidery, textiles, and watercolor, and we have a talented team working on these projects. You may notice some machines running during the day if we're producing a series or collection. The art studio is always shifting and changing so its hard to keep fully updated photos which you might understand as a creative.
We also provide a communal kitchen that you're welcome to use. We kindly ask that you leave it clean after each use.
And for those seeking a bit of outdoor relaxation, we have a delightful bonfire place where you can gather around and enjoy cozy evenings. Whether you want to roast marshmallows, share stories, or simply bask in the warm glow, our bonfire area offers a perfect spot for relaxation and camaraderie.
We hope you have a wonderful time exploring our creative space, utilizing the communal areas for work, and enjoying memorable moments around the bonfire.

You'll most likely find me at the kitchen table (unless I'm running around giving tours) during check-in and checkout—unless I've mysteriously turned into a ninja or found a teleportation device ;)
Rest assured, I'm here for you whenever you need me. Reach out via Whats App, direct calls, or even telepathy (if you've mastered that skill). And don't worry, the fantastic AIR staff will also be available during their work hours to lend a helping hand.
We warmly welcome independent travelers who blaze their own trails and artists with their workflow on point. Welcome to our hidden tropical paradise! Please note, the last stretch of 400-500 meters can only be reached by motorbike/scooter or a light-footed walk. Even the street leading to us boldly proclaims "NO CAR from here on!" But fear not, arrange transport with us in advance for a smoother journey into our tranquil haven.
Nature is our neighbor, and that means we have some interesting creatures like dinosaurs and giant elephants—just kidding! But hey, expect geckos, bugs, frogs, and the occasional spider. Don't worry, if you need assistance with spider evictions, we're here to help during regular hours. Off-hours? You and the provided facilities become the dynamic duo in this forest luxury.
If our notes give you the jitters, perhaps a place that pretends we don’t live in the jungle in a tropical island is your match. We're just trying to be helpful before you even book, you see 😉
Oh, and a heads-up: it gets humid in the tropics, especially in Ubud during the rainy season. We've got some dehumidifiers, but let's embrace the flow.
