Elliottborough neighborhood of downtown Charleston.
30 second walk to bus stop. One off-street assigned parking space. Charleston Green Taxi is an incredibly reliable taxi company and my home is extremely accessible from the Hwy. 17 and I-26
Laura is a great hostess- super accommodating and her place is fully stocked and a perfect location, walking distance to yoga, King Street and Meeting Street. I hope to return to her place.
Great experience, we felt right at home in Laura's apartment and enjoyed Charleston. Everything is in walking distance - perfect. Laura had even prepared some snacks and a welcome letter for us, which was really nice. Would love to stay again.
My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Laura's apartment. The apartment was as pictured, clean, and tastefully decorated. Laura even had left fresh flowers around! There are 2 bathrooms, as well as a comfortable daybed in the living room that made our stay very comfortable. Laura's apartment is in walking distance of everything in Charleston, and there are some fabulous restaurants right nearby. We walked down to the waterfront several times (about 2 miles) and jogged around the mansions downtown. Laura had left us a long list of suggested spots. Some highlights were: Trattoria Lucca, Wild Flour Bakery, The Grocery, and The Cocktail Club. We loved strolling around the streets of Charleston, and the apartment was comfortable enough for us to come back there and hang out on the porch and in the living room. We would definitely come back!
Laura was a great host with a lovely apartment. The location is ideal and the building has its own parking which was very helpful. Laura left us a "welcome" cheese platter along with a list of excellent recommendations ranging from dinner spots to antique stores. She was super helpful and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend her apartment to anyone looking for a place in Charleston.
Designer-friendly property, tastefully decorated, bright lighting, perfect for a couple's retreat; near some great venues, for example the music farm, trendy and upscale bars and restaurants, street access is a bit narrow so a bigger vehicle might not be the most ideal for entering and exiting the private parking lot, for a great and unique experience please visit Laura's!
My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Laura's. Her place was cute and comfortable and she graciously left us an amazing charcuterie plate to snack on. The off-street parking was a huge perk, and we were in a perfect location to bike to almost everywhere we wanted to go. She also left us a list of local hot spots, shopping, restaurants, and Folly Beach access tips. If we're ever back in town again, we'll be sure to see if her place is available.
