Walk to the historic plaza, playground, parks, gym, restaurants, galleries, museums, convention center and shops. Great patio and fenced yard for being outdoors and your well-behaved pets ($10/night per pet), good parking. Infant and kid items supplied upon request. Bus stop for 10k Waves and Ski Basin just 3 blocks.

The space
This is a comfy older house with small bathrooms. AC window units in all rooms. If you are expecting the 4 seasons, please do not book this listing. Nearby public park has a public gym and pool, playground, baseball field. Walking distance on main road to the convention center, restaurants and more. Fully stocked kitchen, fully fenced back yard and front patio. Sleeps 6 comfortably but can sleep up to 9 ( a kid on the upper bunk) one king, one queen, a bunk and single (in the bedrooms) as well as a queen sofa bed in the Living Room. Fireplace is for ambience only and not really to supply heat but there is firewood and kindling available October 15--April 15 only. NOTE: due to active fireplace this listing is NOT recommended for anyone who has an allergy or sensitivity to fireplace residual smoke smell. There is a grill and plenty of outdoor furniture for barbecues and outdoor dining. The dining table in the dining room can seat 8. A high chair, pack and play and toys are available upon request if you are traveling with small children or babies. NOTE: this is a well built older home with cracks, quirks and imperfections. It is also pet and kid friendly. So if you expect perfect modern luxury, this is not the listing for you or if you need a really quiet location with no street noise you may want to consider another listing. NOTE: spring is windy and there could be bit of dust around.

Guest access
This is a whole house with fenced yard and front patio. Guests have access to everything inside the house plus the back yard and the front patio. They do not have access to a storage shed in the back where we keep extra supplies.

Other things to note
Pets are $10/night per pet. There is an envelope for you to leave your pet fee in cash.
Check in times and check out times are strict due to the cleaning schedule. There are pet sitters and day care information in the house manual. It is not advisable to leave pets in the house unsupervised for any length of time. You will be responsible for any damage your pet does to the house (chewing, scratching etc.). You can leave them in the yard in warmer months as long as there is no barking. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or on the beds unless you bring your own cover for them and take it with you when you check out.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a fantastic older Santa Fe residential neighborhood where people walk their dogs, walk to town, jog around the park or take a short drive up the hill to soak at Ten Thousand Waves or a longer drive up the mountain to ski, hike or mountain bike. Several favorite restaurants of ours are listed in the House Manual.
