Welcome to BEACH MUSIC, directly across the street from The Atlantic Ocean!
Several years ago, in search of the perfect American seaside get-away we discovered the Victorian-era town of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida.
Along the way we visited many American coastal towns looking for the “town that time forgot.” On first view, we immediately fell in love with Amelia Island, Florida’s most Northeast barrier island and the sister to Cumberland Island National Seashore.
We purchased a sweet 1955 beach bungalow, situated within steps of the ocean, and named it BEACH MUSIC. After a complete renovation, we offer it to friends and family at low rate.
Beach Music, a two-bedroom (one king / one queen), two-bath home with an extra room for two more guests, features central air-conditioning, cable TV / Internet service, full-size kitchen, CD/DVD stereo, linens, towels... all modern amenities you require for a relaxed, vacation lifestyle.
The Atlantic, with miles of beachfront, is just across the street, via a public access path. You’ll love the privacy of the landscaped backyard, deck and Weber BBQ grill.
Explore the nearby village on beach-cruiser bicycles available at the nearby bike rental store.

We enjoyed staying in this sweet house while on a painting vacation on Amelia Island. The house is clean, with a great kitchen (we like to cook), comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and best of all, across the street from the ocean, literally a one minute walk to the waves. The neighborhood is very quiet so sleep was good. Stella was always responsive to questions and we felt completely taken care of but enjoyed our privacy too. The area is gorgeous and we'll be back!
Stella is an excellent host and her beach bungalow is very tidy, well stocked, and makes for a wonderful vacation. She even leaves a few items in the refrigerator for your arrival. If there are any problems, she is extremely quick to respond and has great customer service. Just a few minute walk to the beach, as well as a few restaurants.
Stella was prompt and courteous. Beach music was clean and love the backyard privacy. Will come back for sure!
Stella's beach cottage in Fernandina Beach near Jacksonville, FL was a pleasure to stay in for a week this January 2015. The kitchen was completely stocked with spices, plates, cookware, utensils. A dozen fresh donuts and a quart of orange juice as well as an ample supply of bottled beer in the fridge awaited our arrival. It was like coming to visit my family in their beach cabin in Northern California but we had complete privacy and the whole house was ours. There was a charcoal grill complete with bags of charcoal and lighter fluid. There were beach chairs and tons of clean, folded towels. It's located a block away from the main road so we didn't have to suffer traffic and noise but the walk to the beach took less than 5 minutes. Perfect! Thanks so very much, Stella, for letting us escape the grey skies, ice and cold of the Midwest and stay in your very sweet abode.
Beach Music was a most wonderful experience. The beautiful home was perfect for my relaxing vacation, all the amenities and more you need for a home away from home, central location to everything on the island, and only a short walk across the street to the beach. I hope to be back. It was a pleasure meeting Stella. She is a marvelous host. I highly recommend Beach Music in your future travels.
Our recent experience staying at Stella's property on Amelia Island was wonderful! The house was immaculate and well provisioned. A short walk to the beach and relaxing deck made the trip restful and relaxing. Stella was prompt in answering all our questions and requests. She was the perfect hostess.
Thanks for reporting the old beach chairs, Bob. New ones will be purchased and a new umbrella as well. I purposefully do not advertise that we have bikes for renters to use, as our bikes are old. Bikes ARE available at the beach store on the corner, 1/2 a block a way. 'Glad you had a nice visit. Stella
Beach Music was a wonderful experience! Very comfortable, all the makings for a home away from home. When I arrived everything was clean and even had a beautiful vase of flowers. I had a cookout with friends and family there and it is was a perfect venue, close to the beach and walking distances to great restaurants. I would definitely go back again!
Thanks so much for sharing your place!
