Beautiful place, perfect location. The house manager Adam was very helpful and attentive to our needs.
We had a great time here!
Thanks Mark & Adam!
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It is in a very quiet neighborhood just minutes from the Volcano National Park, which made our visits to the park very convenient. The welcoming fruit basket was a nice touch. The house is as described on the listing and very clean and cozy. Host was very responsive when we had a couple of questions. Would definitely recommend staying here for visits to the area.
Mark's Hale Ma'ukele home was a great choice for our 4 nights in Volcano Village on the Big Island. The house is as pictured and described, in great condition, very clean and stocked with a nice selection of fresh fruit, coffee beans and other essentials. We really enjoyed our time here and have no hesitation recommending to others.
The place is amazing! Everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed every part of the house. The fruit was a nice touch and everything was comfortable.
The house is every bit the same as described and as I expected. It's spacious, it's well-kept, it's spotless. The host welcomed us with a nice fruit basket, the house is fully equipped with most of the things you need, all the kitchenwares, towels, shampoo and body wash, even a spare futon. For those who travel with infant, there is a playpen/bed ready.
If I really have to pick on something negative about the place, it would be the location. It's about 20 minutes drive to Hilo and 15 minutes drive to the closest 7-11. But hey, you already know where it is before you book it, so no complain there! Bring some entertainment or game if you plan to stay in at night!
Thank you very much for hosting us, we had a great time there and definitely will come back again!

Nice guy, serial technology entrepreneur, occasional visitor to the big island, where by brother lives. My brother built both of my Volcano homes and lived there for many years.
