What a delightful stay we had at the barn. Our group of 9 was comfortable with plenty of room and beds. The location is perfect - an easy drive to many locations. Tony was not intrusive but always available to answer questions or provide suggestions. Our stay at the Barn at Fellowsfield really made our trip special. Just a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend it.

What a perfect place for our family and friends group. The barn was comfortable, spacious and had every necessity. We were able to use this location as a base to explore Dublin, Northern Ireland, the Wicklows and even ventured out to Kerry for an overnight. Tony and his wife are the perfect hosts, always with a story and wit, what interesting people! Waking up to the farm animals was such a treat, our own little duck parade on Saint Patrick's Day morning! and fresh eggs from Tony through the kitchen window. We would come back after a day of adventure to sit by the fire and laugh and relax. On our last day we planned on planting trees with Tony, but our flights were earlier than expected, Tony had saved 12 trees for us and planted them for us so we can watch them grow from home using GPS coordinates! We left in the morning with snow covering the farm field and a gorgeous rainbow. Thank you Tony and Louise

Tony is a wonderful host and his property is incredible. The design of the house has a wonderful and spacious charm which easily accommodated 7 of us. It was difficult to leave and although this time was a business trip I will be sure to come back with the family. I can also highly recommend Lucy (the chef recommended by Tony) who cooked us an incredible meal and was a pleasure to interact with. Thank you Tony!

What a wonderful stay our family of ten had in Tony's farmhouse. Tony was the perfect host, never intrusive, but always responsive if we had questions or wanted more firewood on a cold evening. On New Year's Day, he orchestrated a tree planting for our four grandchildren at a brook on his farm. They set a pin and plan to visit their trees again. We had fresh duck and chicken eggs each morning and enjoyed vegetables from the garden. It was fun living the farm life, getting to know the animals by name. The house is perfect for large groups. It offered a large kitchen, dining room and living room for our together times, but also provided privacy for all. The house was impeccably clean and very well furnished and supplied. The kitchen is a chef's dream. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water. One night, Tony arranged for Lucy to come cook a meal for us. Delicious! She prepared and served the meal and, of course, cleaned up afterward. This trip will be one we will remember for a long time!

The "converted barn" is absolutely charming and delightful, even better than the impression created by the posting. We stayed there during the second week of December when it was quite chilly outside, but the "barn" was incredibly cozy between the underfloor heating and large fireplace in the ground floor and central heating throughout. The extensive wood floors, rustic wood beams, and array of designer lighting added to the cozy atmosphere. Beds, linens, towels, and showers were superb. The setting is fabulous, with horses, ponies, ducks and hens walking past the front door. The location is an ideal base for day trips to Dublin to the east, Newgrange and the Hill of Tara to the northeast, the nearby National Stud and Japanese Gardens, and Powerscourt and the Wicklow Mountains to the southeast. Tony was very responsive and very helpful during the entire reservation process and prior to arrival. He was waiting for us when we arrived, and gave us a very warm greeting and comprehensive overview of the property and professional kitchen. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs from their own hens and ducks, bacon, milk, cheese, bread and the kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Tony provided advice on nearby restaurants, sights, hikes and arranged for a chef to come cook dinner for us on one night. Overall, we have a terrific time, and have many fond memories. Highly recommended, one of our best airbnb experiences. We'll be back!

I arranged a family get-together for 10 guests to celebrate a milestone Birthday with a few other guests visiting for an evening event. Tony's barn looked good on AirBnB but exceeded expectations in respect of size, quality and readiness in reality. All of my guests were well looked after from arrival to residency and leaving. All pre-arrival communications and things to consider were good. The directions to the barn given by Tony brought us and all our guests right to the door, first time. The kitchen (catering ready!), utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery was ample and everything worked well. If you need a caterer for a party he and I can recommend a fantastic contact. The bedrooms, bedding and linen were as described, clean and tastefully decorated and appointed. Beds were comfy and most rooms had en suite shower rooms. The lounge has an amazing open fire with plenty of wood supplied. A farmhouse table that will easily sit 12 people. Enough sofas and chairs for all occupants and TV and video/audio if you needed it. Tony was around if we needed him and responded in a timely manner when we needed anything at all. A welcoming and extremely flexible host. The Barn is about 35 mins from Dublin and is remote, but if that is what you are looking for, you will find very little better at the rate/night/guest. If you like ducks, chickens or horses, this is also a place you will enjoy. I spent a few hours talking to Tony and some of his local acquaintances looking after their horses during Sunday. Thank you Tony. From all of us. A real lovely place. Good luck - we will see you again.

First of all the house is amazing. Every corner of it is inspiring and well thought of. There is so much spirit of creation and good taste. Photos that Tony took over the years as a photographer and stuff he collected make you feel at home. In addition Tony is such an amazing host. He showed and guided us through the farm with great knowledge and sense of humor as though we were his own kids. In conclusion, a perfect 10 for the whole experience. Totally recommended for big families with kids. Thanks Tony for a lovely time!
