This is a very bright and centrally located one bedroom apartment located in the heart of Capitol Hill. It is about a ten minute walk from the apartment to downtown.
We're located on several major bus lines and are within walking distance to grocery stores, retail shops and lots of nightlife.
The number 8 bus runs very near the apartment to the Seattle Center and the quaint Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. The number 43 runs between downtown, past the apartment to the University District.
We have a coin operated laundry room in the basement of the building and there is a laundry two blocks away.
We always keep the apartment stocked with coffee, tea, basic spices, sugar, flour, oil etc. Please feel free to help yourself to everything.
You will always arrive to find the apartment neat and clean with fresh sheets on the bed and fresh towels hanging up.
I keep a small basket in the bathroom with extra toiletries. If you forget something or run out of any thing, help yourself to the additional amenities.
The apartment does have wireless internet.
Capitol Hill is a densely populated neighborhood; parking is a challenge. I park in this neighborhood everyday, it requires a bit of patience. That being said, there is very little need for a car in this part of the city.
There are a few options to get from the airport to our apartment. You can take a taxi which is about $40 plus gratuity or you can take Shuttle Express or you can arrive via my favorite method: the Seattle Light Rail! Hop on at the airport, the fare is just $2.75 and the train runs every 7.5-15 minutes from 5am to 1am. Get off at the last stop which is called "Westlake Center." Once you are at Westlake Center you can take a $6 cab ride to our apartment, or you can walk 15 minutes up Stewart which turns into Olive Way. You could also take the bus. Just head over to Pike and 5th (1 block south of Westlake Center) and get on the #43 to Capitol Hill. Get off right across from the apartment at the Bellevue Avenue and Olive Way stop.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them!
:) Logan & Reese
PS, due to our extremely rigorous school and work schedules this quarter it is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate check-outs after noon and check-ins before 4pm.
We stayed 2 nights in Logan and Reese's apartment on our road trip honeymoon. The apartment is in a beautiful old building, it's in a super convenient location, and we really enjoyed our stay. Parking is challenging but we were warned and once you park, you're good to go because you can walk everywhere. Only thing I'd note is that except for the kitchen the outlets are two pronged - not a problem at all but I live in an old house so have adapters and should have brought mine!
Loved the place and the host! Great location, easy walking to almost anywhere. Very clean. Host gave us great recommendations for local spots to go.
The location is great and the apartment is charming, but I found the bed to be pretty uncomfortable. Additionally, it was very springy/loud. I move around a lot when I sleep, so I was frequently woken by the sound of the bed.
Overall the experience was great! Check-in was a breeze and the hosts maintained communication whenever I contacted them.
The place was very clean and the bed was comfy.
Though the apartment is spacious, the bathroom is pretty small. The sink is directly in front of the toilet. Not a big deal at all, but just good to keep in mind if you're a larger person thinking of renting this spot.
Would definitely stay at Logan and Reese's place again if I needed a pad in Capitol Hill.
Logan and Reese's apartment was the perfect place to stay after a week in the forest. Logan was very easy to communicate with and made check in/check out easy. The apartment was clean, bright and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops within a short walking distance. Parking was difficult, but we were warned about that before hand so it wasn't a surprise. It was a very positive experience and we would stay here again.
The Capitol Hill apartment is great! Exactly what it looks like in the picture. It was very easy to check in and check out. I loved the location in Seattle. The apartment is very close to bus lines that make it very easy to get around the city!
Logan was sweet, made everything simple, fast and easy. Check in/check out was the best.
Although we didn't see Logan in person, his instructions for access to the apartment worked perfectly, and the keys were waiting for us. The apartment was lovely, clean, and cheerful. The bed was super comfortable, the linens in the bathroom and on the bed were fresh and white and smelled nice. There was wi-fi that was easy to use and worked great for our needs. We thought the apartment building was quaint and nice, and the location was great. The only tricky thing was finding parking in the evening near the apartment. The host can't be faulted for this, however! It is just a thriving area with primarily street side parking for the various apartment buildings nearby. This was our first time to use airbnb, and it was an overall positive experience - I expect that we will use it again! We definitely enjoyed our stay.
I had a great short stay at Logan and Reese's. Easy to organise key pickup, spacious apartment, great part of town. No complaints!
This space was perfect for walking around Seattle. You are really close to downtown which means easy access to lots of museums and the pike place market. The neighborhood itself is full of really great bars, restaurants and coffee shops as well. Our favorite coffee shop was Analog, which is literally a block away from Logan and Renee's apartment.
Plenty of natural light and very charming.
