About This Listing
Looking for a cheap bed for the night in Sheffield?
My son has graciously agreed to let me rent out his room while he's away at university!
It comes with a 2-metre bed, so it's especially suitable for tall visitors, but anyone is welcome.
My house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, just off the A621, 2 miles south of Sheffield railway station and on 5 major bus routes from the city centre; busses run at least every 10 minutes during the day and early evening. It's also just 6 miles from the stunningly beautiful Peak District National Park.
It's clean and friendly if a bit scruffy!
All visitors are equal but cyclists are more equal than others!
Bed linen and towels provided. Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Free Virgin Media cable tv and wi-fi plus massive DVD collection!
Smoking area in back yard.
There's a variety of local ethnic shops and eateries plus a Morrison's Local supermarket and a recently renovated Victorian pub called The Broadfield, all within a few hundred yards.
Anything else you want to know? Just ask!
Fantastic host. Super friendly and made lots of effort with breakfast, very tidy room, towels, info.
Robert was incredibly welcoming. Perfect stay for Sheffield Doc/Fest, could walk into town (with no hills!) or easily get the bus if I wanted. It felt like a home from home :)
Breakfast laid out everyday which was great.
He's got great taste in music and ended up giving me a memory stick of music to listen to.
Definitely stay here!
Robert was very welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay there. If Im coming to Sheffield again I Will stay there only. Highly recommended to other's.
Situated on a quiet street Roberts home is warm and homely. The wifi was great without any interruptions which is rate these days and the room was a trip back in time in a good way. I would definitely stay again
