For rent in full, this charming villa enjoys a unique and wild lakeside. Wooded garden, swimming pool, kayaks ... Many tourist activities available. Warning: the lake level varies with the seasons.

The space

20 kms from Ouarzazate, the villa and pool meet the needs of discerning holidaymakers in search of calm and wishing to recharge. For this we chose a Berber-inspired décor at once comfortable and casual. Its unique and direct access to the lake are its major assets, and its 180 ° panorama embraces the snowy chain of the Atlas.
The kitchen is equipped, but we encourage the use of a stove. This is cheap and really simplifies life. The villa has 3 bedrooms with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, and 2 bedrooms with a double bed plus a single bed. Each has its own bathroom.
The double living room has space away for reading or watching television.

Guest access

The house is rented fully with the exception of a small house in the garden, which houses a private collection of fossils and archaeological exhibits tracing the history of life on earth from the beginning to the present. This collection is available at all times, with the only condition to be accompanied by our faithful Amzile.
Amzile our caretaker who lives on site, looks after the garden, maintaining the house and meets all your needs.

Interaction with guests

am delighted to welcome visitors if possible on arrival, and never fails to share my experience in the field and my tips every time you invited me.
I occupies a private dwelling not far in order not to disturb the privacy of the guests during their stay.

We had a truely wonderful stay at Tigmi Nitral. The photos on airbnb are an excellent representation, but it is even more beautiful in real life. This house is a true gem and I would recommend it to everyone. Guy was a wonderful host, incredibly helpful, attentive and considerate. Unfortunately, due to fussy children we didn't take the meal option, but enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The house was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was a blessing due to the 42 ° C heat (and after an oven like stay in Marrakech). The house is spacious and beautifully decorated, the gardens are impecably kept with seating and relaxing space for many more than just our family of 6. The pool was really amazing, with wonderful views across the lake and surrounding mountains. We really enjoyed visits to Guys museum. He has an amazing and well displayed collection of fossils and images from Morocco and around the world, and a few more modern surprises. Ouarzazate is very easily accessible and there is a very nice restaurant at the nearby hotel Thank you to Guy, his friend and Aziz for a really wonderful stay

The house is very expensive and it is not comfortable. There are 6 bedrooms, but they are all very small. Perhaps it would be a good value for a large group of people, but for a small family it is not. In particular in winter months - the house is very cold, the living room huge, uninviting and freezing. Perhaps we could have heated it up with an aircon, but I'm not sure, as the room is really large - we haven't spend any time there. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the house is far from perfection. The kitchen is quite disgusting, everything is really dirty - floor, worktops, microwave, dustbin, cupboards are full of open food with ants crawling all over and it smells. The showers are horribly uninviting (I couldn't make myself to use them), used the bath instead, but it was really smelly. The bed also smelled, so we were waking up smelly - not particularly pleasant... The electrics are also not very good, there were open wires sticking from the wall. Also, despite the housekeeper being there, the beds and bathrooms were not done up and cleaned. We didn't even have any toilet paper on the arrival (I had to ask for it the next day - how well were the bathrooms cleaned?) and there was no soap. I definitely would not recommend meals cooked by the housekeeper. We ate there for 3 days, 6 meals in total and every time bread was stale (not even once fresh, how could this be achieved - the bread must have been purchased fresh at some point?...) The cooking was OK, but for 180dh per person it was not worth it. We were not even offered tea or coffee after the meal and setting up a plate of fruit with a knife as "make your own fruit salad" somehow doesn't feel right for the money. There are a couple of the hotels in the neighborhood, not cheap, but definitely better value. A welcoming cup of tea on arrival and help with luggage would have been nice...

What a gem! Guy was great from start to finish and so were his helpers Amzil and Hind. A beautiful piece of paradise just a few km from Ouarzazat centre and plenty of beautiful spots to visit and feed your eyes and soul. Very important to have a car there to be free to move around when and where you want! I will surely be back! Perfect place for a relaxed getaway. Thank you again Guy, Amzil and Hind.
