  • Westside Market NYC

This is a great supermarket, but in the mornings if you walk to the back, they have amazing breakfast sandwiches (eggs vegetables) + coffee for $2.99. I still cant find a better deal anywhere else.

  • Grounded

This is one of my favorite spots to sit down, grab a cup of coffee and relax. On the weekend try to make it in before noon because it can get crowded. But weekdays are perfect!

Amazing Vegan friendly food. Good spot for coffee.

  • Corner Bistro

Amazing local corner bar. You HAVE to try the burger. Beers are cheap and the atmosphere is great. Weekends can get crowded after 10pm, but the line is worth it.

  • Rubin Museum of Art

This is a small museum focusing on Asian art. On the first floor they always have interesting exhibitions. Worth checking out. (do you have a student ID? bring it and see admission price drop ;)

  • Cafe Cluny

Great brunch spot. Also featured in some movies. And probably a good spot for some celebrity sightings....

Only a block away, this is a great place to get your next Mac, or just see what all the fuss is about...

Best lunch specials. Really good Thai food for the best price. Lunch specials run through 3pm everyday. Great solution for a quick lunch!

Cool vibe! A bit pricey(plates are around the $15 so not that bad).Ask to be seated upstairs,or if its summer then ask for the garden in the back.Great spot for a weekend brunch on the west side.

  • Meatpacking District

This area is filled with restaurants, the entrance to The High Line park, a Mac store, and late night it becomes filled with the top clubs in the city. Really nice place to walk around during the day.

  • Pier 54

The West Side Highway has a great view, and in nice weather, it is the perfect place to spend the late afternoon, watching the sunset or jogging.
