Our Amish-built cabin faces Elk Creek for a private and tranquil experience in nature. Our property sits along the Ghost Town Trail Loop, a 32-mile continuous looping rail trail. Located just 1/4 of a mile off of US-422, we are in the middle of everything that western Pennsylvania has to offer. Complete with hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, high-speed WiFi, Queen bed, mini-split air conditioning, as well as full kitchenette and bathroom, our cabin offers the perfect escape ready for adventure.

The space
Private and serene, our open concept cabin offers the escape that you’re looking for both inside and out. Relax in the hot tub or around the fire pit as you enjoy the sights and sounds of Elk Creek flowing through the forest. Up for an adventure? Hop on the adjacent Ghost Town Trail and experience one of the top rated rail-trails in the USA. Looking for a day trip? Western Pennsylvania is filled with natural wonders, outdoor activities, national landmarks, regional heritage, and places of interest just a short car ride away.

Make our cozy cabin your home with a queen sized bed, full kitchenette with every appliance and utensil that you’ll need, charming breakfast table, inviting decor, single mattress loft, sleeper sofa, 3 piece bath, high speed internet and 32” TV — all with an open glass view of Elk Creek in forested privacy that is temperature controlled with a mini-split system.

Guest access
With ample parking in the rear, the entire cabin and private front area that houses outdoor amenities overlooking Elk Creek are yours for the length of your stay. High speed WiFi easily allows you to check-in with work or school should you need to. The Vic Miller Road Trailhead of the Ghost Town Trail is located directly beside the property, and being 90 minutes from both Pittsburgh and State College puts you right in the middle of everything that Western Pennsylvania has to offer.

Other things to note
Our cabin is available from the 3rd weekend of March through the 3rd weekend of November. We do not take winter reservations.

Reservations for next year go live on January 1st with a 6 month Booking Window.
