Paul was a great host. Very flexible on when we checked in. There was a little mixup on how many beds there were (only 1, but we were expecting 2), but it was instantly solved by converting his couch into a very comfy bed. The place is well-located and has an awesome view. I'd highly recommend staying here!
Paul and his wife/girlfriend were absolutely adorable and so responsive to my parking questions and need to check-in somewhere between 9 and 10 pm due to a business function. Their place is absolutely spotless, the pillows may have been the most comfortable I've slept on. Nice-to-have amenities including shampoo, body wash, blow dryer, cotton balls, etc. They also offered snacks and breakfast items which was totally unexpected. Share with them beforehand if you have any air freshener sensitivities. I only stayed overnight but would definitely come back, especially if I went to a concert at Yoshi's which is right across the street.
Hi Leigh, This is Isabella from SuperHost and we help Paul with this listing. We'd like to thank you for your stay, and for your feedback. We're sorry you didn't enjoy the air freshener as much as our other guests did. To keep this from happening again we've had it completely removed! We hope you choose to stay with Paul the next time around:)
They are such a friendly couple. Although I only stayed for one night, Paul was very welcoming when we first met. The space was just as described, and very clean. The bed was so comfortable, and the city view was beautiful at night. The location is just a few steps away from Japan town, and extremely convenient.
I had a very nice stay. Space is as described, very central in SF. Enjoyed a movie on the projector with the hosts. Thanks again.
I stayed here during a one-day layover in San Francisco. My flight landed at 11:30 and my host, Paul and Kate, kindly accepted me at such a late hour. They even provided me with a cup of tea and bowl of cereal to ease my weariness from my travels. They gave me a tour of the penthouse, which included an awesome view of the city. I found the view to be so great that I even decided to wake up before sunrise to catch some morning rays from my room’s balcony.
Though I only stayed a night with Paul I found my lodging to be perfect for my needs at the time. The room had the bare essential and was very clean and tidy. Paul’s place is in a prime location with a short distance walk to Japantown or you can catch the muni stop, right out front of his place, to any other location. Since I had such a great overall experience I would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Francisco. Wish I could have stayed to watch the sunrise a few more days and maybe even to get to know Paul and Kate a bit more but I had to leave.
My wife and I stayed for several weeks at Paul's place, and it is ideal. The apartment is exactly as depicted in the photos. The view is spectacular - you can watch the sun rise over the entire city every morning. The place is very clean, and all the sheets and towels were freshly laundered. They even stocked the bathroom with shampoo and conditioner when before our first night.
The location could not be more convenient. You'll be close to at least a dozen restaurants. There is a breakfast place downstairs so you can get coffee/tea/food in the morning. Many of the bus lines stop at the corner of Filmore and Eddy, which is about 20 feet from the building.
Paul and Katya are lovely hosts. They are friendly and attentive. They were never noisy or disruptive. My only regret is that we did not get to interact with them more as I was always at work! But my short conversations with Paul were interesting, and he is a good apartment mate if you're at all interested in philosophy, finance, technology, or generally making the world a nicer place.
Especially in this price range, this place has basically everything you could want. A great experience. Highly recommended.
I stayed in Pasha's home for 4 nights and I was totally satisfied with the experience. He was very accommodating to my midnight arrival from the airport. His place is beautiful and newly renovated. The view of the city of San Francisco is amazing from the many windows...I think it was the 14th floor, not exactly sure because it was called P2. The location is perfect with restaurants, bars, and shopping, including a great grocery store, all with in a block or two from his home. Mass transportation is readily available just outside the door. My room was very comfortable with a private (email hidden)d plenty of hot water! My vacation schedule and his work schedule were both very full...but we still had a chance for some conversation and plenty of text messages where Pasha was always checking to see if there was anything more he could help me out with or if there was anything that I needed. This was my first time using Airbnb and will definitely do it again because of my positive experience with Pasha. He is a great person who is full of energy and has done very well for himself in his young life. Highly recommended.
Pasha's great! His penthouse is beautiful and in a cool area (lots of good places to eat on Fillmore). Had a great week, definitely recommend staying here.
Pasha Is a great host and the room is in a beautiful house which is modern super comfortable and with amazing views in a really central spot with great connections around the city, can't recommend enough.
